"Ulp!"

That made three now. Marche was glad he'd found a pair of such 'close' partners when he'd decided upon this little test of his. Now three lithe squirming thieves were currently being squeezed tightly inside his gut. Getting one had been easy, but the other two had been trickier. Nevertheless, they were all quite the meal satiating his hungry stomach, their statuses reading 'Ingested' on his HUD.

Now Marche hardly needed an excuse to gobble up the worthless and wicked 'heroes' he came across on his travels, but today he had done so for more than just his usual mission. A local blacksmith had claimed to create fine enchanted gear and rumours had been swirling that she was a fraud stealing the money of good honest folk. So Marche decided to put one of her creations to the test, when he found a 'Belt of holding' on her shelves.

"This belt is indestructible when it comes to stress!" the blacksmith had said. "No matter what it's wrapped around, it won't ever break!"

And that was what Marche was putting to the test today. A stomach full of three thieves was currently wrapped even tighter than usual by the belt, the leather digging into his gut and the buckle grinding down upon his captured morsels. No matter how much they wriggled, struggled or kicked their feet, the belt refused to give any room at all. Marche was surprised it was holding up so well... but he was also sure he could hear the leather creaking.

"Maybe... just a little more." he thought with a sly grin, opening his inventory to check how much food he was carrying. It was at least three day's worth... that should be just enough to see if this belt could hold on or not.

And it didn't... he'd have to pay that blacksmith another visit and show her the limits of her work.
