Zelda 35: Tetra Eats Phantom Ganon?! By ZeldaNoVorsu -- Report

The celebration is sadly almost over, but hey, it was fun while it lasted, right? (I hope so). Here we have a story set during Hyrule Warriors Legends, since it was the only thing besides Twilight Princess HD released for the 30th anniversary. Breath of the Wild didn't quite make it out in time, but that's alright. This time, the story isn't POV (gasp) since Link isn't the only player character in the game. Going back to writing third person past tense after writing second person present for five stories in a row was a bit harder than expected. Not only did I change that up, but the pred this time doesn't have the name Zelda (though she is one) and the prey is back to having the name Ganon (but he isn't Ganon). Kept this one a bit shorter as I didn't want to go get all the mission dialogue. There's one last story I want to do for this, though it will probably be relatively short just detailing my hopes for what we could still get for the 35th anniversary.

A Hyrule Warriors story without Warriors Zelda? You really dropped her in favor of BotW, huh?

I'll admit, I was considering doing her eating Dark Beast Ganon, but this is technically supposed to be Hyrule Warriors Legends, and so the true final boss of Legend mode is Phantom Ganon. And actually, this is probably one of the rare Hyrule Warriors stories without her. And I haven't "dropped" her. It's just that I've written so many stories detailing most of her life after HW that I need some time to recharge my ideas with her. She'll always hold a special place in my heart as the one I first really fell for. After all, I do plan on doing the actual HW story, which means she'll get her chance back in the spotlight.
