It was the dead of night in the city of Mondstadt. The cathedral that was atop the highest point in the city was the Church of Favonius. A single sister remained in the dim candle-lit hall of the church as she swept the floor while humming a cheerful tune. Barbara is the deaconess at the Church of Favonius who faithfully prays to the Anemo Archon, Barbatos. She was finishing up her chores for the day, when she heard a faint creaking noise coming from behind her.
Barbara spotted Sister Rosaria sneaking out through the Church’s backdoor. Rosaria was another sister of the church, however she’s never been known to participate in prayer or events. She’s aloof and a bit cold to the other sisters, but Barbara believes deep down she has a good heart. However as of late, she’d go out in the middle of the night and come back before dawn only to stay locked up in her room for up to days at a time. Barbara assumed this time Rosaria was going out to the back garden to smoke again like she always does. Smoking is hazardous to one’s health, so this time Barbara decided this time she’ll give her a piece of her mind. So she proceeds to secretly follow her.
After several minutes of walking into the business district of the city, Rosaria tended to traverse mainly through the alleys and empty narrow streets, her route clearly of someone who doesn’t want to be seen by others. Barbara followed her through shortcuts around the town that not even she knew existed.
It looked like she was heading for the tavern, however she seemed to walk past it instead despite the drunkards sitting outside inviting her to join them. Where else could she be going in the middle of the night, Barbara thought as she followed Rosaria until she turned a corner, where she seemed to have vanished into thin air without a trace. Barbara had the feeling Rosaria knew she was being followed the entire time. She’s always been perceptive like that.
A few minutes later as Barbara was walking back to the cathedral in defeat, she could hear some rustling in one of the alleys. A dog perhaps, she thought until she could hear a spine-chilling scream echoing from deep inside. Someone was in trouble. As the deaconess, she couldn’t ignore a cry for help so she rushed in. The alley got darker the deeper in she went in, but the screams got louder until she eventually saw two figures at the end of the alley. They were standing next to what seemed to be the backdoor of the adventurer’s guild building with bags of various stolen treasures scattered on the ground. A young man who was wearing the outfit of a common treasure hoarder was being gripped by the collar by...Sister Rosaria!? But something was off about her; her stomach was gigantic! It was like she swallowed a large hydro slime. Even louder than the man’s screams were the loud groaning and churning of her stomach as it bulged and shook violently. Were those people inside of there?! Barbara couldn’t believe the sight in front of her.
“P-Please, I won’t steal again. I swear on my life. Just let me go!” He desperately pleaded for his life, but Rosaria’s expression was cold and indifferent as always as she lifted him into the air with one arm. The man pleaded more, but Rosaria did not stop as her mouth opened wide. Barbara had never thought possible that a person’s mouth could stretch so big. He tried to cry for help but his head was plunged into Rosaria’s mouth. With a hefty gulp, he descended deeper down her gullet as a large bulge in her throat. Barbara was frozen with fear as she could only watch as Rosaria swallowed the rest of the man with ease to further add to her girth with a professional level of efficiency. She pushed his feet through her closing lips and took another hefty swallow as the bulge in her throat slid into her belly. Rosaria let out a sigh as she smacked her gigantic gut. “Keep it down and digest, you lowlifes.” She coldly demanded as the ominous groans of her belly intensified along with the unholy cries of her prey being ruthlessly assaulted by her stomach acids. All the while, Rosaria’s face was indifferent even though people were suffering inside of her. Barbara had tears in her eyes as if the person she’s known for years was a wholly different person. Her heart couldn’t take it anymore as she ran away as fast as she could.
Many thoughts raced in her head as she sprinted as fast as she could back to the cathedral. Was what she saw actually real? Swallowing a human whole and alive just isn’t possible, right? The more she thought about it a lot of things were starting to make sense. The low crime rate in the city. Rosaria’s frequent night outings and spending days in her room afterwards. Now that she thought about it, there were times where Sister Rosaria complained about not having underwear that fit her. If that’s the case, then just how many people has she been eating over the years? A few? Dozens? Hundreds? Barbara shook her head. All she could do now was go home and pray everything she just saw was just a very bad dream.
The next morning, Barbara yawned as she was doing her morning walk to the cathedral. She didn’t get a wink of sleep last night. How could she after witnessing Sister Rosaria committing such sinful acts. Maybe she should tell Sister Jilliana or Sister Victoria. Surely one of them should believe her-
All of a sudden, she was grabbed by the wrist and swiftly dragged into the alley she was passing. She tried to scream but a hand covered her mouth as she was pinned to the wall by something heavy, warm, and...squishy? She opened her eyes to get an eyeful of a familiar pair of large breasts and above them the scowling face of Sister Rosaria. Barbara was being pinned down by her large stomach, which didn’t even feel solid anymore against her chest. She had swallowed those thieves not even a half a day ago, yet her stomach was completely soft and sloshy as Barbara could feel only a couple loose bones floating around inside. Just how many people did she digest last night? Rosaria’s stomach was about three-fourths of the size it was the night before, so it might’ve been 3 or 4 people churning in her gut right now.
“You saw me last night, didn’t you?” Rosaria asked with a stern glare. Barbara’s heart sank. She knew. Of course she knew. There’s now way she wouldn’t have noticed. Barbara’s mind was scattered with fear. “If you tell anyone, well...” she smacked her belly “...I pray it won’t come to that. I still need to keep my figure after all.” Barbara nodded as tears streamed down her face. Rosaria then said she’ll let her go and instructed her to tell the other sisters she’s out sick and nothing more and to act normal.
And so, Barbara was sent on her way to the cathedral as if nothing happened. Never would she have thought Sister Rosaria is capable of doing such sinful acting without so much as a hint of empathy. But despite everything that happened, there was one thing that would never leave her mind. Her softened stomach felt very...pleasant pressed onto her body.
The End…?
