Ki'eva Captive By Cowrie -- Report

An image of a ki'eva implanting a clutch of eggs inside the uterus of a newly-captured human woman, after having made a meal out of that woman's boyfriend. As I've mentioned before, females of livebearing species that are capable of acting as a host to developing ki'eva infants (like humans), can, with proper medical care, survive the birthing process and act as a host multiple times. For that reason, when taking captives of such species, ki'eva rarely eat female captives, but generally only leave a very small number male captives alive, with most males being eaten on the spot. Those captured males that are kept alive are generally put into cryogenic stasis, and periodically milked for sperm to ensure that the female captives can also birth the next generation of egg hosts and male prey.

A few more details about ki'eva reproduction. Ki'eva technically produces two types of “egg”. Large, fertile true eggs, and much smaller, but not viable “roe”. One ovary produces true eggs, which are roughly grapefruit-sized, like the one passing through the ovipositor of the ki'eva here and about to enter the human woman's body. Only one to six true eggs develop to a lay-able state each month.

The other ovary produces a steady supply of one inch in diameter, infertile, nutritious roe. Biologically speaking, ki'eva roe are not actually eggs, but rather capsules of pure, nutrient-dense yolk. The average, well-nourished ki'eva produces about half a gallon of roe every day. Releasing roe typically is a source of sexual pleasure, and roe is frequently used to supplement the diets of actual egg hosts.

The ki'eva pictured here mentions shuum. I've previously stated that those are an herbivorous humanoid from the ki'eva homeworld, and the traditional host for their egg. Though sapient, shuum are, as a general rule, objectively less intelligent than ki'eva (or humans, for that matter), as well as being somewhat uncreative and easily distracted. Additionally, their beefy, three-fingered hands make them less adept at manipulating tools than five-fingered races. At an average height of a bit under 8 feet (about 2.4 meters) tall, with a heavyset build, it is typically difficult for the shorter ki'eva to physically pin down and implant their eggs in a shuum, particularly on their own. For this reason, despite being strictly parthenogenic, romantic life-partnerships between a pair of ki'eva are extremely common, with such partners traditionally assisting each other in subduing shuum to implant their eggs in.

In modern times, most shuum are born in captivity and essentially brainwashed, or, as ki'eva put it, domesticated, to be subservient to their ki'eva mistresses, and thus require no true subdual, with a pair of ki'eva now typically instead sharing ownership of a harem of shuum and/or alien humanoids. Despite subdual no longer being an issue, the size of an adult shuum makes getting into position to implant eggs in one more difficult for a ki'eva than it is to mount members of alien races closer to a ki'eva in height – such as humans.

Male shuum, as well as males of alien species born into captivity, are not typically put into cryostasis, instead being used as household servants before the majority of those males are fattened up for consumption by their ki'eva owners, with only a few being left alive as breeding stock.
