Nicely done on the dialogue. Very enjoyable read. Crepe Suzette, I have not had one in years...
Hard to tell, but how much of the meal stays with Jessica? That was the only thing it was hard to tell.

Glad you enjoyed it! I tried to sprinkle as much foreshadowing as I could into the dialogue ;)

Weight gain/distribution is a good point. I'll make sure to include more of that content for clarity in the future.
