Things aren't the same anymore. Juniper is at a new school, Triss tries her hand at being a hero, and Prudence finds that she just isn't connecting with her new roommate.
Sorry for such an extra long wait, but still wasn't sure how to start this up again even as I sat down to write it. But now I'm getting a plan going, I just need the time and willpower to get it done.

lots of exciting things happened here, plus some more to look forward to. And hey, at least Juniper doesnt have to go to school any time soon. Speaking of Juniper, I get wanting to steer clear of bullying, but for Triss to flat out ignore her seems cold. Have the two never met before?

They haven't met yet, you are correct. They've rpobably seen each other around the building, but they have not been formally introduced.

Okay, I want to know who leaked Juniper's (lack of an) Awakening. I imagine it was when she first arrived and was encouraged to share her Awakening to her homeroom/class. Or someone has information they're not supposed to. I can understand Triss not wanting to get involved, but even if she wanted to covertly extend a hand in friendship, she didn't get the chance.
Laura. Laura! LAURA!!! Your mistake was not calling for help immediately. The punishment you would've recieved for fessing up quickly would've been far less severe. Even if Juniper pulls through, you're gonna have a bad time. Actually, I take that back, your first mistake was puttimg yourself in a position where you could be easily startled. Especially after how haunted you are by the last time that happened. Then again, I don't think there's much she could do to actually stop her tongue after it's loosed.
Speaking of, Prue, Iz *has* killed after having her loved ones killed or put in jeopardy. I'm starting to wonder if Iz kept quiet about where one or both of her acquired Awakenings came from.
Anyone else betting that Cassidy's employed by the Men in Black now? Well, the only alternative I can think of is RAZE, and I dearly fear for her safety if she's actually a part if RAZE now. Seriously, I would not trust them to look after a box.
Triss, you share Iz's knack for getting yourself in trouble. I'm actually disappointed that she would go help someone being mugged, when there was no indication that either she nor the other victim would be fine, but just let Juniper get bullied. I also pretty much forgot about Pink and Green. Fortunately for Laura, Prue has a new target to direct her rage. But the problem would be accumulating the funds.

Well, Iz's unbirth Awakening was big news on campus. There's no hiding that one. But yeah, as far as the water bending is concerned, she hid the origin of that one so people would just assume that was her first Awakening. Otherwise she'd have to try and make up a fake third Awakening to hide the regeneration one.
RAZE is an excellent company with a comprehensive benefits package including one of the best life insurance policies money can buy. That of course being because they need it. Captives who are considered low risk are given benefits and treatment above those who are high risk. But yeah, they seem to drop the ball whenever we see them.
Like morher like daughter. If she failed to stop the mugging, no one would know. But if she failed to stop the bullies, everyone would know. Triss just built her reputation, she wasn't gonna risk it on a stranger and make herself a punching bag again. Prudence technically works for the government. The government doesn't negotiate with terrorists, so neither will she.

RAZE is just lucky that Juniper-2 isn't aggressive. Yes, it *does* have a body count, but Juniper and Blossom are probably the only two who know that. But now that Juniper's inside it again, I imagine she'll be in control until she makes the rat cough her back up. Considering the utter misery's she's been in, she probably won't willingly come back out. Considering how Juniper-2 had a lot of trouble swallowing Iz last year, but seemed to have less trouble swallowing Laura, it's probably grown considerably. I can totally see Juniper breaking containment while still inside the rat and pull a "who's laughing now."
If Prue won't negotiate, then she's either going to leave Triss to her fate, or she's going to go McClane on their asses. Hopefully Prue knows what she's doing and Pink (I think she's the one who was harrassing Sybil a while back) doesn't absorb the hostages.

Well if the rat was aggressive, it would be considered high risk, like it is now for escaping. Various tests and feeding schedules have let it get stronger, not really much larger. I was thinking of Juniper taking the high road, but maybe I'll need to reconsider that...
Prudence promised Iz thar she'd keep Triss safe and she is honor bound to do so. She's going to hunt them down and make them wish they were never born. She may have failed Juniper, but she won't fail again. They were both harassing Sybil but Pink was the one using her as an educational buttplug.

Pending the results of Pruedence's imminent rampage, I'll have to consider, between Iz and Prue, which one I would rather not piss off. I just hope Prue is able to rescue the others if she can. And hopefully nobody figures out that Triss can regenerate, I doubt she has the control to keep her arm broken. Now that I think about it, do the duo even know they actually contacted *that* Prue? If they don't, boy, they're in for a surprise.
