I am still waiting to see what those totally non-existant eyes from pg.10 of the comic do.
My current guess is that she doesn't feel any predatory urges when she is around non predators.

Not sure? I just remember that she had no problem eating that girl in the comic, but then she was around another woman, who I thought might have not been a pred, and Ida seemed genuinely concered for the safety of the little guy she found, and suddenly eyes appeared behind her which I was guessing was gonna make her predatory.
Of course I could be wrong, this was just me guessing.
