These two orcs are adults now! They're in that kind of rocky period between being adults, and really finding their place in the tribe. I mean, they're both pretty sure they know what they want to do, but it'll still be a bit getting there, and discovering themselves in an orcish style...

And this starts this year's Orctober! :D As usual, I like to begin the month with 'just a bunch of orcs being orcs', haha. Day in the life, but they're giant greenskinned monsters and thus everything is very weird and awesome.
Also yigads does 'Pheidippides' not shorten well into anything, haha, that's where Dip's name comes from and should explain the other two given names too.
(...this is my first upload in awhile, so hopefully I have the format set! I may be re-uploading this a few times to fix errors, so bear with me).
¡Orctober!
Orctober Information can be found here: https://aryion.com/g4/blog.php?id=61137
Edit: A year later, I ended up doing a sequel! The sequel is called: The Scout and the Warrior
Edit2: In Orctober 2023, we revisited these two! They can be found here: Orcs of Skill
Edit3: Keeping it up in Orctober 2024! Seasoned Hearts

Are the Ancha like the classic D&D orcs, evil and violent because they follow a dark god?

Ye...
Hm. There's a bit of a chicken and egg scenario there, haha. In most of my stories that include Ancha, the real focus for the orc tribes becomes 'what do you consider important'?
If that answer is 'strength', then doggedly pursuing that tends to wander you away from certain things the Ancha like to do, as 'beating up people who are zero threat to you' doesn't tend to help you nor your tribe get stronger. So Ancha have values more in line with the dark god who created orcs in the first place, which generally puts them as less potent than orcs who don't.
Now I mean, that /said/. Orcs have zero qualms with beating each other up or beating up other people, so to a nonorc town that's sandwiched between an Ancha tribe and a different tribe may not notice terribly much difference between 'both of these groups seem to attack us rampantly' haha. But you can generally work with non-Ancha tribes in some way. :P
So I guess it's more that they're different views on 'orcs'.
...Also I'm way too verbose.
Thanks for the comment! :D
