Not the tone I intended, but I can see how it could be if you take it seriously or aren't desensitized. Hopefully the groom wasn't too attached to her undigested form.

(You could also argue that the scene makes a lot more sense if resurrection exists; and there just wasn't time to have it done before the ceremony.)
