Cliff the Yoshi loves to explore! One day, he finds an undisturbed cave behind a waterfall and ventures in. After a while he runs into someone else, which the now-lost yoshi is all-too-grateful to run into... at first. Who burrowed this tunnel? Why, a large, hungry cave serpent, who is grateful for the impromptu visit from such a plump, tasty-looking yoshi!

Spur-of-the-moment story I threw together. A nice, easy way to write Cliff as prey for the first time. Hope everyone enjoys!

It was, and I'm happy someone caught it! Good work!

There's a second more subtle one in there too. In fact, the setting of this story sprouted from me thinking about those stages in general.
