I'm finally up for drawing again, and wanted to jump straight to inks right away, with something simple - Casey and the classic snake pred. She's just about to fully and permanently enter this squishy tunnel, and has a long journey ahead on the path to being snake food! Judging by her expression, all this is just starting to sink in...
Yeah, I was planning on drawing more through November, and was going to do a Thanksgiving pic for all my American friends, but many things happened last week, and it was far more chaotic than expected. Attacks from my blood disorder, sure, but also a bunch of unexpected crap with renovations at my house, and some new troubles with the landlady. This kinda lead to a week of just feeling trapped and waiting - which is finally (almost) over. Maybe I'll make a journal about it before bed, or tomorrow.
So the relatable feeling for this evening's drawing - stuck helpless, being pulled into a wet, fleshy abyss; slowly getting sucked down to your demise as reptile dinner!
Which sounds as lovely as it does terrifying!

Always a relief to see you back again, and what a brilliant pic to return with! Hard to go wrong with the classic snake, and the way Casey's toes are scrunched, with those little wiggle lines and the snake's tongue running over them, slathering them with drool, absolutely love this piece <3

Yeah, I didn't plan this one out as well, drew the internals and Casey before the rest of the snake, so it came out kinda weird

I think it looks fine. You can at least draw a line with your eye between Casey's legs in the cutout and the part you can see hanging out of the mouth.

Yes, I'd say her round backside might've been a good part of the reason she gets gobbled up, in many cases!
