Not sure what this is? Here's a post explaining the series!: https://aryion.com/g4/view/712411
____________
The idea to con Malva out of the reward without actually taking out Miram was great, I had a lot of fun with it! And now we've got ourselves a fun goblin companion!

But, what, if anything, should we do to help her for tonight? Play it safe and just let her sleep in her tree-hole one more night, or try to sneak her into the inn without drawing suspicion? Or maybe there's something else we could do to improve her situation a little?

You can find Adrea’s character sheet here!: https://aryion.com/g4/view/712418

Remember, you can ask any questions about the world (that are relevant to the current chapter) if you think you want/need more information about something! I'll do a 'live' intelligence check before answering if it's something Adrea might know.

Wow, you make that last sentence seem like it has a binary choice attached to it. We have a bedroll in our inventory that we're not going to be using in the inn. We can't take her to town, so just offer her the bedroll for tonight.
We also need to talk to Klo as soon as possible, she'll probably be sympathetic towards Miram given her track record, but we shouldn't just expect her to offer another free ride when it's pretty cramped already.
(If it comes down to offering money for transport, like I said before if we come out of this with even 1 silver we made a profit... actually we should just give the water runners a tip for transporting us as soon as we get to town regardless of all else)
But her there's always riding atop the horses, or taking turns walking alongside the cart (depending on how fast it moves), and if all else fails we can either meet up or send her to Bally.

Probably a bit of my MVA writing style slipping through on that ending, sorry! Didn't mean to imply there are only two valid options ^^;

I agree with Radiogenvore, giving her our bedroll for the night without trying to sneak her back into town seems like the best & safest compromise.

We should also find Klo as soon as we can, so let's head back to the inn and see if we can find her. We should explain the situation to her and see how she feels about Miriam tagging along. I'd be happy to give them the rest of the silver we got from the reward as payment for bringing Miriam along with us, or just as a tip.

Once that's sorted, we should call it a night, and head back to meet up with Miriam the following morning. Tell her to meet us on the road outside town so she can be picked up without giving away the con, and set of for Laridan.

As much as I'd like to sneak Miram into the inn with us, I generally wouldn't try to push our luck. I'd say offer up our bed roll and one of our travel rations, the poor thing could really use a taste of something other than fish. Let's really butter her up and solidify this blooming friendship.

Come to think of it Adrea WAS eyeing Miram's hips, maybe it wouldn't hurt to be a little flirty when offering up the items and see what she does? If nothing else, it'd be funny to get mocked for it. And maybe if it goes really REALLY well, sneaking her into the Inn would be worth the risk? (We could always use the ol' tummy trick again, bring the bounty flyer with us to show the innkeep if she gets suspicious) Just a stray thought.

Either way, it's of the utmost importance that we let Klo know of our cohort sooner rather than later, a surprise passenger will be much less welcome last minute after all. Wear down any resistance with the offering up of coin, should it come to that. Have Miram meet back up with us on the path leading out of town and let our adventures with our new sidekick commence.

I guess we'd have to sneak her into town regardless to leave with the harpies right? So I say we sneak her in. Malva seems like she just wanted to go to bed.
