as mentioned in my previous WiP post, the UV map i created before was not really that great.
the distribution of facial detail was a little strange, with high resolution areas where it's not needed
and where it's important, there was a lower resolution available. all this while the fingers and toes
had almost no texture detail at all o_o
btw. those texture artifact thingies on the feet are caused by recent fixes to the mesh. i knew i'd redo
the UV map anyways, so that's what i'm currently working at.
the new UV layout will encompass an upper body and lower body secion; while the previous version
(the one you can see here) had a head, body and tail section.
i'm hoping to distribute the level of texture detail more evenly this way
