Very impromptu and very recent comm for  zoidburg05 that I'm uploading now because otherwise I gotta wait a whole 'nother year also I don't have any other Christmas art this time (RIP)

anywhoodles I was asked to make Astolfo stuff, more specifically the boye in a Santa skirt filled with certain other boys. How could I say no? Unrelated to the prompt also involving Rin as one of the prey, promise (genuinely tho that was a nice bonus but I'm just happy doing more of characters I like, especially for others who like them too). Boy howdy I loved working on this and it shows in both the product, at least I hope, and especially the time between start and completion being nine days (13th start / 22nd finito). Oh yeah J'alter is there too cause we stan her in this house.

I'll say again that this was genuinely lots of fun to work on, nice simpler project to do after working on a bigger thing through October and early November. And the rest of the year primarily having been my typical "do a character with a detailed outfit" thing, which hey I don't mind at all but something like this is definitely a good change of pace. You figured I'd have learned that properly by now but I guess not. Most complicated thing of this was refining the hair between sketch and lineart since I messed up a bit on that front, oops, making it take longer than otherwise needed. But yeah, fourth time now; really fun art to work on.

Kind of funny that last year I did an Astolfo comm, and now I have also done one this year. It's a good comparison shot too, like look at that and this side-by-side and you can see that already I've improved at least somewhat noticeably. Sketching more and having a defined look for my faces certainly has helped with that, probably, maybe, I'm not quite sure but let's say it has. I'll be posting the rest of my 2021 arts in the coming weeks, or at least most of them? Not yet sure if I'll post my non-fetish fanarts.
