This story is pretty much a direct sequel to Royalties. This is...Really more like a sequel chapter than it is a story; and even though I'd meant for Koko to be the star, it really ended up being more of an Ami/Mairu sort of thing. The next story in Satorippon will, hopefully, shed a bit more light on what's going on in the country.

Also, whereas before I simply referred to Satorippon's palace as simply "a palace", and probably treated it as just one building, I've done a bit more research to learn that, at least in China, Korea, and Japan, it's more typical to have a sort of palatial complex with multiple smaller buildings inside of a larger park-like area. I didn't want to cross the Rubicon in over-designing it, though, so the descriptions are pretty sparse. Koko spends most of the story not actually seeing anything, too, so from her POV...Yeah. The next story with Koko should do better to feature her, at least.
