“S-Senpai!” Mash Kyrielight, the Shielder of Chaldea whimpered. Her eyes were wide, tears beginning to form as she desperately looked below, lip quivering as she knew in her heart the person she was charged with protecting could do nothing but watch helplessly.
Mash, voice cracking, tried to say more. But whatever heartfelt goodbyes that might have been on her tongue were silenced when she felt herself be mercilessly pulled in between those huge plush lips of her uncaring devourer. The last thing Chaldea's precious Shielder getting to see being the tortured look on the face of her beloved Master.
Ritsuka Fujimaru heard herself groan as she watched in helpless despair as Mash disappeared into the great monster Echidna's mouth, her purple hair colored head vanishing into the terrible creature's pursed lips as it leisurely titled its head back and let its throat muscles contract and allow poor Mash's entire body to be swallowed in one swift motion, the echoing gulp spelling doom for the girl as her master could only stare in silence as the squirming bulge traveled down Echinda's slender neck.
The pale behemoth groaned in satisfaction. Though Mash Kyrielight was but an insignificant morsel to Echidna, the Shielder was filling her up in a very different manner. Giant clawed hands slowly caressed the vast bloated undersides of her mountainous belly. It was turgid with Echidna's feasting, her stomach close to bursting with the countless servants and people she had gorged upon. But satiating her vast appetite was only secondary to her true intention. With an ominous rumble, her middle began to pulse and throb within her palms.
Echinda cooed as she felt that familiar tightening sensation as her womb expanded further, as new life was rapidly gestated within her terrible womb, all thanks to the contribution of Chaldea's Shielder. With her inclusion, and soon to be digestion, Echidna further bolstered the number of monstrous offspring that was forming within her, ready to be born unto this Lostbelt like a plague.
“Oh damn that dunderhead Jason.” Goredolf, mustache twitching, muttered as held his head in his hands, rocking back and forth as he sat next to Ritsuka in the ruins of the Storm Border ship. “Why'd he have to go and request such a stupid thing like that.”
That, which Ritsuka assumed he was referring to, was the now ill conceived request Jason of the Argonauts had asked of poor Chiyome. She had offered herself willingly to be fed to Echidna, planning to impart her curse once she was devoured. It worked of course, as Jason had expected it to, but unfortunately for all of humanity, it worked too well. Because of it, Odysseus had lost his control over Echidna and her offspring, which began to attack friend and foe alike indiscriminately. Fueled by her instinctual desires to endlessly give birth, Echinda sought out to consume anything that could help fuel her monstrous parthenogenesis. One by one, the forces of Odysseus and Chaldea succumbed to the maternal gluttony of Echinda, either by falling at the hands of her birthed monsters, or by her own stomach, which ever groaned for more, the endless hunger driving her all the way to where the last forces of Chaldea were located, within the grand ship Storm Border.
It was about as one sided of a battle as it came, the grand might of Echinda decimating the ship and laying waste to its occupants. Ritsuka shuddered remembering how Mash frantically tried to help her escape, as the Storm Border ran adrift on land even as it was being torn asunder. Being unable to do anything as the crew of the multiple Nemos were scooped up like errant snacks and shoved into Echidna's slavering maw by the handful. Each one panicking as the remaining uneaten crew were forced to share the sensations of one another digesting up until their Captain got eaten himself, putting an end to Nemo.
Poor Leonardo da Vinci suffered a similar fate, as the genius servant gallantly tried to launch a final assault using the cannons of the dying ship, only to go out screaming in terror as Echinda lowered her huge mouth over the paralyzed girl and ate her on the spot, sending her to join the countless others churning away to help further create more children for Echidna.
Now aside from only her and the quivering Goredolf, only a small regiment of servants remained. And their numbers were quickly dwindling.
“N-No!” Yelped Gareth as she struggled futilely within the grasp of the enormous demonic beast, Echinda using the tip of her sharp finger to flick off the armor the female knight was wearing. The mother of monsters almost seemed to purr in satisfaction as Gareth's rather generous assets that had been covered up bounced free. The knight's enormous chest elicited a hungry growl from Echinda as she licked her lips in anticipation. As mindless as she was, Echinda seemed to relish seeking out the more fruitful looking members of Chaldea. Almost as if drawn to those that embodied womanhood, instinctively knowing that they could provide the most nourishment to help aid in growing more in her womb.
Gareth only was able to let out a pitiful squeal as she was gobbled up by Echinda without hesitation, the monster wanting to waste no time in having that deceptively buxom knight fuel another batch of lamias or even a litter of powerful Cerberuses.
A shrill warcry caught Echinda's attention, as she turned to focus on the remaining servants who were struggling to keep the horde of birthed monsters at bay. Boudica, heavy breasts swaying, led the charge as Scathach, wielding Gae Bolg, struck down groups of beasts with her spear.
Mordred and Elizabeth Bathory, clad in her bikini armor, stood back to back, swords raised as they held the line, aiding a wounded Europa who watched as Jeanne D'arc Alter burned monster after monster with her vengeful flames.
There was Helena Blavatsky and the monk Sanzang as they grouped together with Francis Drake, Mata Hari, and Carmilla. Each breathing heavily, near exhaustion with the effort of battling near endless foes, trying to keep them away from reaching the ruins of the Storm Border where their master was. The landscape was littered with servants and monsters alike, ferociously battling with everything they had to survive.
In mere minutes it was left barren and empty, save for the lone giant demonic beast who had selfishly taken her fill.
A thundering bellow of pent up gas rolled from the recesses of Echnida's innards, ruffling her lips as she craned her neck back, announcing her repleteness in an extremely rude fashion.
“Horrifying.” Goredolf murmured as he nervously bit at his nails, carefully peeking out from behind his hiding spot. “That hideous monstrosity going so far to consume her own children too.”
Ritsuka nodded grimly, agreeing with his assessment. The monster's hunger clearly was great enough that she had no compulsion against viewing her own offspring at potential meals, her role as mother going only so far as to birth them. Beyond that, they apparently served no purpose to her other than potential fuel to generate more like any other food source.
Echinda loudly groaned, her inhuman voice tinged with the lingering hint of pain. As beastly as she was, she seemed to have at least understood the concept of overdoing it. And overdo it she did. Her titanic gut rumbled as it attempted to contain the multitudinous populace she had so greedily stuffed into herself. Extremely buxom servants like Murasaki, Charlotte Corday, and Scheherazade were especially taxing on her organ, not to mention her uterus, as already she could feel another army brewing rapidly within, her belly furthering ballooning out as she continuously swelled with impressive gravid spectacle.
Despite feeling on the verge of bursting, Echidna still craved more. Her programming that she was imbued with driving her desire consume more, in order to birth in ever greater quantities even though it caused her discomfort. Not wanting to have the feelings of emptiness gnaw at her being, Echinda spared a glance at the two remaining prizes she held within the grips of her hands. Minamoto no Raikou and Artoria Pendragon.
Whether by fate, or unfortunate luck, the Berserker and Lancer had wound up being caught by Echinda, and though the monster had no rational thought to understand it, she had certainly landed a fine catch by any definition, as both servants had bodies that rivaled Echinda's own in terms of grand fertility.
“Don't think you'll escape having your foul head sliced off accursed beast.” Hissed Raikou as she squirmed in Echinda's tight claws as the demonic beast drew them closer to her wide cavernous jaws.
The stoic Artoria chose to remain silent, choosing only to spare a glance behind her. Though she knew they both were all but doomed, there still was a chance to save their master.
Without much fanfare for two of the strongest servants in Chaldea, an impatient Echinda sloppily crammed them both into her mouth at the same time. In true testament to their sheer voluptuousness, she was only able to fit half of their bodies inside, their wide lower halves left dangling outside of the monster's lips. Raikou, obviously incensed by this humiliation, wildly kicked her meaty legs, making her plush backside bounce up against Artoria, who seemed more resigned to her fate.
Cheeks full, Echinda struggled to get them fully into her mouth. Wrapping her tongue around their now slick bodies, she took several pronounced gulps to get them to begin their agonizing descent into her twitching esophagus, the pink dark tunnel dilating as it prepared to accept them both. Their feet finally vanishing from view, both Raikou and Artoria were squeezed painfully tight together as they felt themselves descend into Echidna's neck. Only to get stuck halfway through.
Echinda grimaced as she lightly thumped at her chest, trying to get the pair's ridiculous breasts that had caught in her throat to dislodge, in the process making her own enormous teats jiggle obscenely.
With an agonizing gulp, she finally freed them, sending Raikou and Artoria plummeting down into the last free available space to them in the already packed tight organ, joining the already hellish multitude of swiftly digesting servants and monsters.
Letting out another abrupt belch, Echinda lazily rubbed at her fat sides, trying to ease the aching bloat radiating from her engorged stomach. Finally having eaten beyond her fill she seemed to relax and wasn't actively trying to search out for more, for the time being at least. Ritsuka knew that this wasn't going to last very long, before Echina birthed another set of horrific beasts and began to hunt again.
None of them, Echinda included, knew that the final inclusion of Raikou and Artoria had been a volatile mixture thrown into the already chaotic pot. Their defining feature of overwhelming motherhood was about to kick start quite the production within.
Giving a surprised gasp, Echinda began to feel a sudden percolation going on in her middle. Not her stomach, which was already swirling with the ocean of chyme and muck that would be funneled down further, but inside the hot furnace of her womb, where she could feel something begin to form, something beyond what she had been pregnant with before.
In a blistering instant, her belly puffed up, like if a bomb had gone off that she had inadvertently swallowed. That snow white orb stretching far larger than it had ever been previously. Though she had no eyes, the look of surprise was clear on Echinda's face as she was forced to expand further, until that enormous ball of pregnancy eclipsed her own body, the sheer height of it being several meters taller than herself.
The rest of her body seemed to respond in kind, urgently trying to play catch up in order to accommodate the fecund growth of Echinda. Her hips flared further to better serve as a cradle to the fertile mountain she was now sporting. Layers of additional fat seemed to form upon her body, glowing motherly pudge appearing in automatic hormonal response. Even her breasts increased in size as the two mounds achingly sloshed in preparation to act as live giving udders to creatures that didn't even need it.
Confusion slowly abating, Ritsuka and Goredolf could see that Echinda was now sporting a pregnant bulge so grand it defied all available logic and reason. So taut was her skin, that its contents almost were visible behind the translucent skin of Echinda.
It was triplets.
Three gigantic sized beings that fitfully squirmed inside the all too cramped home of their mother's womb, pushing for space along with their innumerable other puny sized siblings.
Giving a rare human-like gesture, Echinda cupped her face in her hands, Ritsuka swearing she could see a tint of redness over the demonic beast's face. As monstrous as she was, it seemed even Echinda felt some bashfulness over her own ludicrous fecundity.
“How...childishly absurd...” Goredolf commented, feeling both sickened and embarrassed that this thing was going to be the thing that would spell doom for humanity.
“Jeanne!” Ritsuka gasped as the blonde haired Ruler appeared before her and Goredolf.
“I am glad to see you unhurt Master.” Jeanne D'arc smiled as she knelt down next to Ritsuka. “Truly the blessings of the Lord are with us.”
“Ah ha, some blessing...” Goredolf grimly chuckled.
“We must flee at once Master.” Jeanne continued. “We can escape into the safety of the forest if we do so now.”
“Are you mad?!” Goredolf protested. “The minute we expose ourselves that thing will have us as hors d'oeuvres!”
“We'll perish if we stay here.” Jeanne calmly responded. “We may have a chance now while she is distracted, and...encumbered.”
Ritsuka noted that Jeanne was correct, as Echidna seemed preoccupied with her newly formed offspring nestled within her, their mother trying to get them to calm themselves as she gently caressed the quivering mound as the terrible trio continued to kick and rage much in the same way any fussy unborn might do, except that these triplets were already the size of buildings, and looking like they each could represent an apocalyptic threat all on their own. But as long as they were inside Echinda giving her uterus a solid bruising, that meant they might have a chance after all.
“Yeah, but sorry I don't think I'll be moving from this spot. Besides my condition forbades me from any sort of running for dear life.”
“But Goredolf-.” Ritsuka tried to plead.
“You'll take your chances, and I'll take mine. So stop wasting all our time before dear mother over there pops.” Goredolf huffed, crossing his arms.
“He's right, Master. If we are to escape, we must do it now.” Jeanne added.
Nodding her head sadly, Ritsuka Fujimaru gave Goredolf Musik one last look, whispering, “Please be safe.” Before she and Jeanne D'arc sprinted out from behind the ruins of the Storm Border, and out into the open.
Fate however, was as cruel as always, as not even a mile in, Ritsuka and Jeanne were beset upon by a lingering group of Chimera that had somehow survived both Chaldea and their mother.
“J-Jeanne!” Ritsuka gasped as she realized that there was no way they could defeat such strong opponents on their own.
“Go! Run Master! I'll hold them off until you can reach safety!” Jeanne yelled, hoisting her flag high as she began to draw the attention of the beasts toward her.
“I won't leave you!” Ritsuka screamed.
“Master please! Don't let Chaldea's sacrifice be in vain!” Jeanne pleaded.
Shaking her head, Ritsuka took off running, leaving Jeanne alone with the slowly advancing Chimeras.
“It's the duty of a saint after all. To be a faithful servant.” Jeanne D'arc said with a soft smile on her face. “Now come you ungodly demons! This flag of mine will protect the hopes of our future! Luminosité Eternelle!”
From in the distance, Goredolf Musik could see the faint flashes of light emanating from Jeanne D'arc's noble phantasm. “It's better this way, I'd only hold them back honestly. But that doesn't mean I want to become some beast's snack.” He muttered to himself as she rose to his feet, making his way toward the center of the ship's wreckage.
“I know there is an undamaged life raft around here somewhere. Just have to find it. That way I can make a clandestine escape and travel along the coastline until I can make my way into safer territory. And after that I could-”
Goredolf didn't complete his half baked escape route as he was interrupted by what felt like an earthquake shaking beneath his feet.
“What in the devil?” He said as she turned to the source of the ominous rumblings, Echinda.
The motherly demonic beast seemed to be in distress. Her claws tightly held the girth of her gravid middle as it seemed to rock and sway violently, making her grunt in pain. Unearthly sounds echoed in the chill air as her belly gave off deafening torrential sloshes and booming grumbles as whatever terrible things gestating within her demanded to be let out.
There was no mistaking it. Echinda was in labor.
“Oh hell.” Goredolf said, as his shoulders slumped.
-----------------------------------
(Many Moons Later...)
Ritsuka Fujimaru ran her tongue over her cracked lips as she took another haggard breath, leaning weakly against a fallen tree stump.
How many days or weeks had it been since she made that desperate escape? Leaving her friends behind. She had lost track of time out here in the endless forest, trying to survive while hiding from Echinda and her offspring, which she could hear even from all the way in this location. God knows where those demonic beasts might be currently, but whatever they were they were huge and terrible enough to be heard even this far away.
Now on the brink of starvation, the last master of Chaldea found herself unable to go much further. But still she pushed on, not wanting to waste what Jeanne had sacrificed herself for. What all the others died in the name of protecting. Including...
“M-Mash?...” Ritsuka found herself whispering.
There, behind a tree, through the haze of bleariness and sleepless nights she thought she saw a glimpse of hair that could only belong to Mash Kyrielight, her precious Shielder that she believed to have lost.
“It can't be...” She again whispered, finding the strength to take a step closer.
Whether this be a hallucination brought on by the delirium of starvation, or a deathly fever dream on the verge of unconsciousness, Ritsuka just wanted to take in the sight of her beloved friend one more time.
“It's you, isn't it Mash?” Ritsuka breathlessly said, hands weakly reaching toward that figure that was beginning to lean more out from behind the tree, showing more of herself. “Please tell me that this isn't just in my mind.”
“Thhsssssss...”
Ritsuka's eyes widened in horror as the thing she thought was Mash emerged, showing itself.
It had her hair. That familiar pleasant eggplant colored hair. It even had her eyes, those soft friendly eyes that always gave looks of encouragement to her Senpai. But beyond that, there was nothing of Mash Kyrielight that this thing retained, whatever recessive genetic material passed on by its mother ending at the mouth, which contained long glistening fangs of a serpent.
“Nooo...” Rituska groaned in pain as the lamia that had Mash's features slithered out, showing its full scaled form, cold scales covering its slender reptilian body. It looked at her, not with the soft gaze of her precious Shielder's love, but with predatory hunger, of a beast that has eagerly found its prey to eat.
Weakness finally finding her legs at last, Ritsuka Fujimaru felt herself buckle and fall to the ground, unable to go on any further. She could hear the faint voices of the others in her head, screaming for her to get back up and run. But she knew she could run no further. Not anymore.
The lamia's gut rumbled impatiently as it coiled itself around the prone body of Ritsuka, who offered no resistance, too weak to fight anymore.
As the thing with the stolen face of Mash Kyrielight open her fanged mouth terrifyingly wide, ready to ensure that this Lostbelt would be the one to survive for Echinda and her children, Ritsuka found a small lingering comfort in the familiar warmth of the lamia's deadly embrace.

Monster moms are nice. And with the Atlantis Lostbelt coming recently to FGO NA, we were all able to fully appreciate Echidna mom in all her glory. Cue fellow pregnant pred enthusiast FoF who drew a very nice sketch of her, including what it must be like for a stuffed stomach sharing space with that bulging womb of a neighbor. In response I just had to write something involving her, and well, here we are! Hope you enjoy and thanks again to FoF for lending their talents in depicting this uber monster mom!
