From my new planetary romance setting, here's a Venusian - or, as they call themselves thoola (plural thooli) that has just eaten a human visitor to her world. Thooli have, in addition to two eyes on their face, three pairs of eyestalks sprouting from their back. Though their upper body is more-or-less humanoid aside from their eyestalks, they have a set of six tentacles where a human would have legs. Thooli are semi-aquatic ambush predators and use their eyestalks to see above the surface of the water while remaining mostly submerged.
Though multiple thoola cultures exist on Venus, all of them recognize "2 plus 6" as a distinct concept from the number eight, indicating two of one thing and six of something slightly different but similar. This concept, which is called saku in the most widespread Venusian language, is extremely important to all thoola cultures, and comes from their body plan. Thooli have saku eyes, saku limbs, and a total of saku digits on their hands.

Hmmm humans should really avoid visiting alien or magical worlds , they usually end up as fertilizer
