Iris West-Allen sighed deeply. She was a tenacious young woman, but in this particular struggle even she had to admit defeat. "Dang. I really thought this pair would fit. They never failed me before, even after a cheat day!" The reporter patted her loyal jeans, currently stuck just below the curve of her rear.

Iris endeavored to balance her home life, working with team Flash, and spending time with her daughter Nora. Taking after her father Barry, Nora had run back in time to meet with her parents. The mother and daughter bonded over food, spending whole afternoons or evenings cleaning out buffets and ordering dozens of helpings at restaurants.

Unsurprisingly, both women put on weight quickly, but Iris refused to quit on the one hobby that she was able to enjoy with her daughter, even as buttons burst and clothing ripped. It was quite a sight, a pair of weighty women waddling around with pockets of soft flab jiggling bulging out of every opening in clothing it cold find, cradling noisy bellies fit to burst with food. It continued for weeks, even as their bulk began to dominate tables more than the food they filled it with.

Now Iris faced the ultimate consequence of her family-minded gluttony, sitting on a dresser in her bedroom sweating from the wasted effort of pulling her jeans up over her hips. As she had long since outgrown her underwear, the bare cheeks of the wide woman's rump were naked, each cheek the size of a basketball but far softer.

"I think it's time for some new clothes..." Iris told herself as she sat on her dresser, looking over the parts of her that she could still see. Along with her hips and butt, the reporter's breasts had ballooned to an even greater size than her behind, stretching out her white tee shirt more than she thought it could withstand. They hadn't torn but the garment had quite clearly given up on covering the rest of her chest, seeing as how half of her nipples remained over the neckline.

Iris' most impressive growth was to her midsection: the large, button-popping caramel-colored behemoth that was her stomach. It was as if the gluttonous woman had swallowed a yoga ball, the doughy mass of her middle refusing to be contained by a waistband ever again.

Denim, spandex, sweatpants, no material could contain her gut short of the fabric used in team Flash's costumes. Even now, Iris' so-called "diet jeans" had begun to tear along the seam on the side as even her chunky thighs were too large for it to hold, let alone the hips above them.

"Gee mom, you think?" The rubenesque reporter's daughter asked. Nora sat at the edge of her mother's bed watching the ordeal while snacking on her fifteenth bucket of ice cream. She too had gained a substantial amount of weight, though due to the speedster's metabolism, her curves were less pronounced.

In fact, Nora's figure was essentially a smaller copy of her mother's, save for her stomach being slightly larger due to being stuffed from her constant snacking. The bed creaked under her prodigious weight as the speedster shifted on the mattress, tossing the now-empty food container into a nearby trash can.

"We should order clothes online. I don't want to be caught in public like this... again..." Iris suggested. "And while we're on the computer, we can order some more lunch!" She added with an embarrassed smile.

Nora rolled her eyes, but couldn't help smiling at her mother's request.

"Okay, fine. I'm a little hungry, too..."
