Anthro newts are actually quite a bit rare. When I once used one for a story many years ago, I think I found hardly any examples and even less that quite fit what I had in mind. Thus, I did ask my friend Garyu if he might be willing to draw me a cute, tasty looking newt boy and he was kind enough to do me the favor. Though you will likely not be reading this, thanks again, Garyu!^^

The truth is, when I wrote this story here (Do check it out if you like the idea of seeing him and a friend cooked up into a delicious meal, don't check it out if snuff or cooking vore would disturb you!), I heavily based my newts on his dragons when it comes to the general aesthetics and the overall feel of them, thus, it made me especially happy to have him do the honors and bring on of them to life on the screen.

Overall, I had many of the design elements based on the European Newt and I think Garyu did a very nice job working those in.
As you see, he has rather big thighs and a big tail, but, erh, that should not be too surprising given what those boys were made for. ;-)
