I’m generally not a fan of cooking, but man the reluctant prey plus the overall casualness just make this work so good.

Good story.
I'm a spiteful bitch, if someone tried cooking me and I didn't want it, I'd make myself taste as horrible as possible, I would eat expired food or garbage straight from the can to be unsafe, cover myself in a mix of pickles and cream or something, just ruin her day.

That's certainly a way to try to get out of it. Maybe it just didn't cross her mind in the short time she learned she was going to be a plate of meat.

True, the only reason I meantally prepare for this sort of stuff is being far off the deep end, I'd have probably also had a pre-emptive strike on my dad or mum as food, which ever seemed like the greater threat/tastier meal.

Hmmm, converting the mom sounds like a good idea =). A mom who is willing to eat her daughters has got to have some nice fat on her and should cook up nicely. Nice aged meat will be good and tender.
