The fictional worlds of Dragon Maid and the Ginger-Pepper canon have shifted priority, but one universal rule appears to remain intact -- the relationship between cosplayer and cosplayed. At their human friend's suggestion, Lucoa and Elma have gone to the city's cosplay convention dressed up as two girls from some fictional story; a busty, playful blonde and a chubby hothead with jet-black hair.

"Dressing up as human fantasy characters sure is fun!" beamed Lucoa, her generously full figure drawing attention away from her still-visible horns. The girl she was emulating may have had an impressive chest, but even she could hardly compare to the titty monster now wearing her clothes. What would have been a roomy T-shirt for most women became a figure-hugging crop top that left her toned tummy proudly exposed. "Though I wonder where Kobayashi got these designs from..."

Elma grumbled as she fidgeted with her own costume. The fake stomach was ever-so-slightly too loose around her waist, pre-recorded gurgles and groans still occasionally erupting from inside. "Speak for yourself," she muttered as she attempted to shift its very uneven weight to a more comfortable position. "I've been trying to keep this thing from slipping out of my shirt all day!" The artificial belly flesh didn't even match her own skin tone... yet humans apparently found this appealing? She sighed, cradling the soft yet burdensome accessory in her hands. She feared she would never truly understand these stranger aspects of human culture.
