I have made a map for my Xantos series to show how the place and geography looks like. There are plenty of places which haven't been mentioned yet and will be explored as the series progress, and if anyone is interested in an adventure taking place somewhere on the map, then write it in the comment below or send me a PM : )
Places mentioned or visited in the series so far:
Afron: Neighbouring country of Nivaria, currently conquered and occupied by Uswuan forces.
Hunting Lodge: The Royal Hunting Lodge where Nina brought Elyon and Xantos after things had been sorted out after the three of them had met.
Ionats' fortress: Home of the sorceress Ionait. Also the place where Elyon was summoned from earth and where she met Xantos.
Long Lake: A mountain lake in Nivaria where Xantos first med (and ate) Nina. Yuna's home.
Proales: Neighbouring country of Nivaria, currently conquered and occupied by Uswuan forces.
Nivaria: The country where Xantos and princess Nina lives.
Niva: The capital of Nivaria and home of the royal family.
Uswua: An aggressive nation that currently has conquered Afron and Proales. Have set their eyes on Nivaria.
Xantos' lair: A secluded valley on the other side of the Dragon mountains where Xantos lives. Part of Nivarian territory.

Love it. I made a world like this in high school. I remember that the reptile king was giant-sized and ate naked amazons as sacrifices. Ah, memories.

Thanks a lot, I'm glad to hear the map managed to bring forth some fond memories of yours, and the voracious Lizard king with his female sacrifices sounds like great memories too ; )

These type of maps are so cool. It really helps give a sense of the world's size, even outside of what's directly happening in the story. Also makes it much easier to visualize what's going on in the world, where stuff is in relation to each other etc.
Seeing this has gotten me browsing online fantasy map-making software again. Always loved this stuff.
Also love the compass 'rose' in the corner there. x3

I also find these kind of maps, cool, and that was part of the reason for why I made it. And as you say, a map makes it much easier to visualize what's going on in the world. I also put some effort into make the geography somewhat realistic in how the mountain ranges, the waters, rivers, lakes, cities and forests are located. And of course, my compass "rose" does compete with your attention, doesn't she? XD
