Honestly, my hunch would more likely be "Sniper" would be within her 'waking' mind as well, until he fades away like a 'burning' memory of what's his, being 'hers'. And being indistinguishable from her own self being.

Iris wouldnt be that cruel to her now-liquefied-lover! To be fair, most of her meals she doesnt really know nor care what happens to their soul...in fact, Sniper is one of the very lucky few who has survived a first sexual encounter with the fox

Oh wow. This story was......something else. Wow. I'm not usually one for longer (by what I'm used to) stories, but the accompanied pic got me intrigued. One of the hottest stories I've read in a long time. The pic was super hot as well. The absolute love they have for each other made it so much better. Might have to read more of your stories

With longer stories like this I don't finish them in one sitting. I started reading this one a few days ago, but I've been thinking about it a lot. Great story. I love your writing style

That's such a heartwarming story <3 and I feel like it gets bonus points for somehow happy ending; Snipes not only get what he wanted, but in some form, he is still around! Awww ^-^

Stories are made to take the reader out of reality and put them in a new world. Very rarely does this actually happen, and even more rarely is a story able to take down the emotional walls the reader puts up. My whole life, I haven't felt the way this story made me feel. It didn't feel like I was reading, it felt like I was living it. I don't know how else to feel than half heart break and half somber yet pure love for characters that don't exist. I don't know why this story resonated with me so much or why it made me forget it was just words on a paper.
Yeah I don't know what to say... 10/10 I'd buy a hard copy of a romantic novel if you sold one.

I think this story was quite a different thing to what I normally do, but I certainly had a ton of fun putting it together.

There may, in time, be a sequel to this. And definitely more romantic stories on the way! Hope to catch you again then.
