I have been meaning to draw Zoozi & Geela again for ages (still don't care they're my least popular characters - they were my first, they need attention now and then!). I looked back, and it's been five months since I drew them last, and over a year since they had their own pic, so it's about time! Even if it's a sketchy practice pic.
So, this is another sloppy experiment with my two new - very waxy - pencil crayons. The black and purple ones; seriously, it was like drawing with a damn candle. The first and second coat goes on like a crayon, as in the snake's belly section, but the third and fourth coat suddenly make it look like a dark marker. Too dark, really, the snake and Zoozi's eyes stand out a LOT. I got this pencil for drawing Juniper, but not now - besides, I broke the friggin wax lead half a dozen times and sharpened the stupid thing in half! Going back to just buying whole, cheap packs (for the same price as one of these stupid pencils!) to get more black and purple. Just getting a huge pile of extras in the colours I barely use. Going to try to solve that with Anise's future comics, using pretty random colours for each page. Speaking of popularity of characters, her last story with Cindy rocketed to one of my most liked comics pretty quick! Really should get back to her - maybe another nerdy meal as a second warm up tonight.
Anyway, just how these poor, succulent girls ended up riding inside a dreaded space snake (an Aqua-Finned Purple Trident-Tongue, to be specific) is anyone's guess. One thing's for sure, it's a one-way trip from here! These Space Snakes have a dead-end digestive system; a simple stomach tube-sack that digests their prey 100%. No need for intestines, anus and all that. Of course their acids are incredibly strong - the big ones are known to digest small space ships - as poor Zoozi is finding out now! Getting little burns on her bum and thighs already, and her toes are likely tingling quite a bit. The girls are pretty panicked, and should be, but it'll all be over quick once they slip into the end of that stomach sack...
Some day I'll have to do a bestiary of all my weird space and interdimensional monsters, I really don't draw them enough either.

Yes - EVERYTHING'S in space!
And of course - glucose-based life forms would naturally be pretty thicc, I'd imagine!

An odd creature to encounter in outer space! Definitely seems quite dangerous though, in spite of the silly facial expression. I wonder if the two of them were lured in by it?

Well, EVERYTHING'S in space - though yes, this would be a very odd and frightening thing to encounter! I figured they were on a surface, like a meteor, when this space snake scooped them up in its jaws and continued soaring through space!

It's been too long, I missed drawing them. They'll always hold a special place in my vorish heart!
