Summary: It has been some time since that incident. Today is when the Director of the Academy is paying home visits, and one individual is quite eager to start this journey.

Author’s Note:
Why is this story so short? That is because it is one of the first chapters of my first long running continuous narrative series. Unlike my other series that could be considered as several one-offs with similar themes or being loosely connected, this is going to be my first continuous narrative series.
I have no idea how long it will take me to write this entire narrative out. I am giving myself a deadline of until Gen 10’s release date. ~3 years. Why such a long deadline? Well that is because I’m going to continue writing my other stories on my gallery (Genshin, F/GO, etc.) so you don’t have to worry about this being the sole content on my gallery until it’s finished. I will try to aim for at least one chapter per month, but I’ll see how it goes as my time passes. So, however long it takes, I hope that we all enjoy this ride together.

Looking forward to reading this series. Also nice to give Nemona some attention and really getting the environment right with all the pokemon inhabitants.

Thanks! Feel free to read them whenever you feel like taking a break from the new Pokémon games. I’m probably going to start playing Pokemon Violet quite a bit now that these two introductory chapters are posted.

Thanks. That was the reaction I’m hoping that these pair of chapters elicit in my viewers. Like taking the bite out of a sandwich. The first bite (first chapter) mostly captures the periphery, while the next bite (second chapter) carries the zesty punch. I’m hoping that I’m able to maintain interest and viewership retention with this series, but that might be a selfish ask as this may be a very long series. Regardless, I have a schedule in mind for this series, you and everyone else can probably expect another double drop sometime next month.
I feel very good about this series as it was one of the few times that I thoroughly enjoyed writing and proofreading it. Usually it is just the former.

I feel like Florian's gonna be having to reform more and more as he explores the world, shouldve just stuck with his sister (and her gut).

Well it wouldn’t be much of a series if he didn’t get out of his home. Although, much to Florian’s aggravation, Juliana should be close by. Considering their particular situation.

Geez, I didn't read every bit of this thing but I feel like.... so, so sad for Florian. Everything about his life feels incredibly unfair to him.

Theme the breaks. But hey, eventually we reach a point that is rock bottom, and the only way to go from there is up.
I was worried that I wouldn’t nail the adversity that Florian would face, as this is my first foray into a non-fatal work. Thus, even though this read may have been difficult for you, I’m glad that you left this comment so that I know that the stakes of Florian’s situation is evident to the reader. Even if they aren’t evident to him yet.
