A human wakes up and finds that he's been mysteriously transported to another world. Luckily, he quickly meets an inhabitant who seems helpful, so it'll probably turn out alright. And it will. For her, at least.

An interesting story. Not quite how I'd expect Judy and Nick to react, but seems plausible.

To be fair, I was going for more of an institutionalized thing (i.e. that's just the way humans are treated here and no one questions it. Yes, they probably would in actuality- but then we'd get a different story).

Yeah - I was adding to a fanfic interactive where Judy was dealing with a shrunken human that was the size of a mouse, and another one where vore occurs.
Big thing in any fan-fic in my opinion, is to keep the characters in-character, more or less.

Trying to establish a distinctive character voice is one of my weaker spots, I admit. I tried to keep them in-character when they were interacting with each other, but I'm not sure how well that turned out.

Seemed more or less okay.

I thought so, but I wasn't quite sure how to balance 'I already know what it's supposed to be' vs. 'you focus on the flaws in your own work'. You can't really know until you show it to other people.

Helps if you re-watch the source material, as it were, note the little phrases used in certain situations and so on.
