It's apparently a big secret that the reason so many yoshies vanished off the face of Yoshi's Island was due to Cliff the Yoshi's insatiable appetite for his own species. It remained as such for some time, until a certain, also-magical, heroic yoshi named Yosher reads a certain food diary, all is revealed. Yosher takes it upon himself to put an end to Cliff's yoshi-eating days once and for all, resulting in a duel between the two mages. Then when Yosher exploit's Cliff's big weakness, the larger orange yoshi is helpless as Yosher eats him alive!

This story's outcome was driven by the result of Netherlands vs. USA in the 2022 World Cup. Wanted to write something with Cliff getting gobbled up by another yoshi, and I happen to know a good one. A gift for  Yosher!
