The Hybrid Zoo, a zoo for specimens of half-human origin, works its best to ensure a safe and protected environment and containment of Hybrids, as well as do whatever necessary to keep their specimens healthy and happy.

Hybrid Zoo Specimen #1:Daisy the Cow-Girl Hybrid

Overview: Daisy is a cow-human hybrid living at the Hybrid Zoo. A calm, simple-minded hybrid with a pleasant disposition. Daisy has no hostility towards humans. She adores belly rubs, ear pets, and head pats.

Usage: Daisy produces massive amounts of milk at once, which the Zoo has begun to sell in large volume as a less-than-legal alternative to typical cow milk. Many have mentioned that it tastes like strawberry milk.

Diet: Daisy will typically eat plants in massive volumes, but is omnivorous and can eat nearly any type of organic material. At first, staff at the Zoo primarily fed her large amounts of plants, but it was later found out that Daisy produces much more milk when fed with a steady diet of humans, as well as had a more sated appetite overall on her new diet.

As someone who works at a zoo, I've gotta ask a few questions:
- What are her quarters like? Is the Zoo open for visitors, and if it is, is it possible for Daisy to reach over and grab them from the viewing areas?
- Has the zoo board tried feeding her stuff besides people? If she can eat any organic material, I presume that that means it's been tested, but are live humans the only thing that increases her output?
- How are people fed to her? I presume that a sweet thing like her would need a bit of convincing before taking to such a diet.

I’ll probably explain more details in a later post. In the meantime.

1. As far as visitors, the Zoo is only able to be viewed by those willing to pay insane amounts of money to check out the specimens. I suppose that it’s closer to a reserve than a zoo, but the guys in charge aren’t exactly the most… ethical or qualified anyway, so there’s that. The term “zoo” is used pretty loosely in this specific case, so if some things sound off, that’s probably why.

2. She lives comfortably in her own stable. Like real cows, she stands upright to sleep (and there are a few other cow hybrids that are there that keep her company). She’s pretty peaceful and a bit lazy, so she won’t reach out and grab anybody unless she’s suffering from starvation and gets desperate to eat something(and the Zoo, for all of its flaws, would never starve it’s hybrids). “Visitors” can pet her but are told to keep their hands away from her mouth because she instinctively eats whatever is put in there.

3. Daisy is a total sweetie, but she’s also incredibly dim and still very animalistic in a lot of ways, so she doesn’t really question the staff’s methods or feel TOO bad for eating people, simply because she doesn’t quite know better. They’d probably shove someone down her throat and she’ll instinctively swallow. She’ll eat them because she’s been told to, and it tastes good. Afterwards, she’ll only know that she’s very full and satisfied, and that the staff seem happy so it must be okay! Even if something in her stomach keeps kicking…

As for why the staff have picked humans specifically, well… they have their own agendas, namely ticking down the list of enemies that the Zoo’s head has made over the years. It kills two birds with one stone; they can get rid of all of these potential threats, and Daisy gets a full tummy. They usually present them to Daisy with a bag over their head, so she doesn’t get freaked out by their faces. They’ve fed her different diets over the years, but the head of the Zoo really insisted on trying this strange new method.
