Belinda sighed and shook her head. With her face all sticky and her green sweater stained with saliva, the Scaly Brood made quite a mess of herself. Heck, even the seams of her clothes creaked, strained by the enormity of this gluttonous feast. Perhaps they would hold, preserving her decency, but Belinda doubted it; by nightfall, her jeans would split and her sweater rip. How many holes would she need to fill, how much seams would she mend? Perhaps she was better off finding a new outfit altogether?

But, of course, that was the less pressing issue on hand.

"I... I thought you agreed with a right to free food." Belinda gulped heavily. Her gaze downcast, Belinda rubbed her cheek . Her head dizzy from the millions of calories chugging along her digestive system, clouding her mind, Belinda suppressed the shudders of pleasure as life-giving nutrients filled her enormous frame.

As Belinda weighed her actions in her mind, the Scaly Brood couldn't help but watch the spectacle. The giant golden globe she called a belly roared like a witch's cauldron, stronger than steel and more gluttonous than Beelzebub. It melted a dozen volunteers into bubbly soup, using acid, heat, and pressure to compress living people into base nutrients. Bumps rose beneath the scales from people, friends, trying to escape. Some were distinct like handprints, while others were merely faint bulges.

No matter; they would be shown no mercy. Already acid sloshed noisily as muscles kneaded volunteers like industrial grinders pounding beef into hamburger panties. Lakes of ash rolled people over-and-over with powerful roils, much like whirlpools. Once or twice, distinct shouts escaped the gut, demanding freedom or pleading for help, but they were drowned out by gastric gurgles. In fact, the whole farmer's market was filled by the caustic churns, echoing off Old Breham's walls. It was doubtful anyone would return to shopping until the stomach fell silent again.

Glurk glorp, glurk glorp! Slooooooooorrrssshhh slooooooooorrrssshhh blooooolp!! Gluuuuuuuuuurrrpp gluuuuuuuuuurrrpp grrrrrrrrrrrggggggllllllleee!!!

Eventually, Belinda sighed again, this time with heavy resignation. Turning on her heel, the Scaly Brood waddled from Old Breham, heading straight home. She kept a number of ramshackle huts across the city, each a small but cozy oasis away from constables and prying eyes. A safe place to rest, relax, and digest such giant, glorious, gluttonous feasts.

"Ooof. I really stepped into it this time." Belinda scratched her chin with a claw, her tail slithering from side-to-side, helping to push the Scaly Brood along. Soon, Belinda disappeared into an alleyway, leaving behind only burbling gurgles and the odd puddle of drool as evidence of her feast.

"I ate all those nice people… and didn’t use any ketchup. Or wash them down with coke. If I'm gonna eat people by mistake, I might as well enjoy it to the fullest. What a silly, silly snake I am..."

Where's part 2?
