Artemis the seal clown hurried down the sidewalk, her purse waving around frantically on her shoulder as she dashed toward her destination. “I can’t be late for that meeting with the ringmaster!” she muttered to herself. “But if I don’t speed up, I might not be on time. . .”

She glanced to her right, and saw a familiar path, going through the nearby park. “Thank goodness, a shortcut! If I go through there, I’ll get there sooner!” the seal exclaimed. So she ran to the rocky trail and continued her journey.

However, Artemis was so busy focusing on her destination, that she didn’t see where she was going—and before she knew it, she felt her foot step into a circular string of rope. Before she could fully process this, however, the rope wrapped around her ankle and pulled her upwards, resulting in the seal hanging upside down. “Oh come on!” she exclaimed, thrashing in an attempt to get free. “I don’t have time for this!”

“Hahaha!” a voice cackled from behind a nearby bush. A figure stepped out, and Artemis found herself looking at a fennec fox—it was her coworker, Marty! “You don’t really have a meeting with the boss,” he revealed to her, giggling. “That was just a trick to get you out here! And now you’re caught in my trap! April Fools!”

Artemis groaned. “This was all a prank the whole time?!” she screeched. Marty cut the rope, and she fell back onto the ground (thankfully, it was a short distance down). “You jokester. . . I was really worried!”

“Aw, I’m sorry,” the fennec fox said. “Well, if you’re really mad at me, I know a way you can show me what’s what. . .”

Artemis turned to him—she knew exactly what he was thinking. “Oh, you want to get in my gut, now do you?” she teased him, smirking. “Alright, I’ll send you in there. But only on one condition.”

“What’s that?” Marty asked curiously.

The seal slapped her stomach with one hand. “I get to digest you,” she told him.

The fennec fox thought for a moment. “You have a reformation pad?” he asked her.

“I always keep one in my purse, just in case,” Artemis replied. She pulled the square-shaped mat out of her handbag to show him. “So, do we have a deal?”

Marty thought for a moment. “Well, ok!” he finally agreed. “I’ve always wanted you to eat me, after all. . . And if digesting is part of the process, I guess I’ll take it!”

“Good little fox,” Artemis said, smiling. “Now, c’mere. I don’t want to waste anymore time.”

The fennec fox nodded and walked up to her—then, a moment later, he yelped as Artemis grabbed his head, and shoved it inside of her mouth. Her tongue lapped him up, covering his face with spit, and then, a /gulp/ sent him into the tight, cylindrical tunnel of her throat. Quick swallows forced him deeper & deeper down, until he entered her stomach with a /pop!/ The belly was a spherical, pink, ravenous area, growling with greedy hunger as he entered it. Marty blushed. It was always humbling to know how much a gut craved for him. . .

Artemis sent more & more of her prey into her belly, making it bulge outwards as he expanded its size. Until, finally, she slurped in the last of his tail, and all of Marty was in her stomach. She ran her hands across her huge gut, giggling happily as she felt her prey squirm around inside. “It won’t be long now,” she purred. “You’ll be digested any minute. . .”

Sure enough, a few seconds later, Marty felt liquid coming out of the belly walls, and they splashed all over his body, making him feel tingly. That had to be stomach acids, the fennec fox reasoned, and he let out a contented sigh as they filled up the area, pooling at the bottom and rising up rapidly. Soon, the pool of juices had reached his neck, and his body had a pleasant, pins-and-needles sensation all over it. It lulled him to sleep, and he closed his eyes, snoring away.

Artemis smirked as she felt her stomach continue to digest her prey. “You might have pulled an April Fool’s prank, but /I/ got the last laugh!” she said triumphantly.

“Now, I wonder how much more fun we can have when you reform?”
