enjoyed the game a lot, but came to a screeching halt cuz of a bug lol
after my first level up i can't move on to the next day, the choice is replaced by an error

Not OP, but it's not. I just reached the same point and it stopped me due to an error. Here is the error code: Error: <<if>>: bad conditional expression in <<elseif>> clause (#3): Unexpected token '>='
