How did this happen? Where did things go wrong? This morning, life made sense. It was a nasty, brutish sense, because life on the streets as a Scaly Brood was all-too-often ugly. But it made sense, in a cruel, cosmic way: Scaly Broods were the bottom of the barrel in society, the misbegotten that nobody loved. It was natural that they struggled to survive, that if they could rub two coppers together by day's end, things were good. Everyone hated them, and as such, they were lucky to not be chased out of town. Or worse.

But this? This was a thousand times worse. When Belinda woke up this morning, she was content to scrounge through trash cans for anything useful like clothes, then busk on the streets. Once sunlight washed over Breham and warmed the Scaly Brood's body, Belinda collected tin cans and other recyclables for pennies. This evening, she planned to masquerade as Madam Bello, maybe earn enough to buy a fat, juicy burger at Lord of the Fries or chicken pot pie at Pies 'n' Thighs? You know, normal things!

This? This was not normal.

"L-Like this?" asked Belinda. The snake woman tucked her arms behind her head. Her long, fat tail swished from side-to-side, easily wide as a tree trunk. "Do you like this?"

"Yeah, like that!" The young gentleman grinned broadly. Wiping sweat from his brow, he said, "Now swing your hips!"

Obediently, Belinda swayed her hips back-and-forth. Her tail followed in-sync, the powerful muscles shifting beneath the scarlet scales. Belinda's thighs grinding together like fleshy pillars, rubbing against the blue jeans that hugged her legs like leather. Pockets of fat poked through jagged holes in the pants legs, merely a tantalizing taste of the juicy flesh beneath.

"Uh, okay?" Belinda's hefty hips bumped off the alleyway walls, enough to shake coal dust off the bricks. She held back, careful not to throw her weight around too much, lest she bulldoze these buildings with her massive ass. Again. "How's this?

"Yeah yeah, good good!" Drool rolled down the gentleman's chin. Eyes wide, the human practically radiated excitement. He pulled out one of those newfangled radios and turned it on. Slow, sultry music escaped it, the sort with sensual vibes heard in Gentlemen's clubs and brothels. "Now say the thing! Your lines, your lines!"

Belinda grimaced. She remembered the lines alright; despite what people assumed, Scaly Broods weren't dumb lizards. But the lines were so, so...

"D-Do I have to? Isn't this enough?" Belinda swayed along to the music. The more she swayed, the faster the snake woman gyrated, making her plump thighs bounce and asscheeks clap together. Deep within her bones, ancient memories of a bygone era crept forth, recalling a time when hooded serpents lured witless vermin with such dances. "I-I'm starting to get dizzy!"

"Say it!" The gentleman snapped. "Say it, or you can forget the gig! Why should I hire you as a dancer at the bachelor party if you won't follow instructions?"

Belinda bit her lip. On one hand, this was degrading. She loved dances like the Serpent's Slide & the Freaky Shuffle; funny, silly dances. This dance was too weird, too risqué for her taste. Buuuuuut six hundred Denari was hard to pass up; with that much cash, Belinda could buy enough hamburgers to last a month! Or a week, if she felt extra peckish. Or maybe a train ticket to the East, straight to the heart of Yaquoris? If Belinda could get close, perhaps she could return to the golden sands of the Khorfteum Dessert? And, maybe someday, to her home in Thoys Owhar? If there was still a home for her, after all this time.

So, letting out a heavy sigh, Belinda leaned over the gentleman. The Scaly Brood towered over the human, perhaps three or four times his height. The two-ton snake forced a smile on her lips, groped her chest, and jostled them up-and-down.

"'Oh baby oh baby oh baby.'" The Scaly Brood wiggled her hips seductively as she squeezed her breasts tighter; Belinda's fingers sank into the soft flesh, which was bigger than the gentleman's head. This close, Belinda smelled the rank cologne wafting off him; why did men think such a foul, unnatural musk attracted women? Did it only work on human women? "'Imma gonna make you feel ssssssso good! Show my dark, wet snussy the loving it needs!'"

A part of Belinda died on the inside. No amount of money was worth this. Especially not when the gentleman pitched a tent in his trousers or licked his lips hungrily. She could sense the arousal wafting off the gentleman like his cologne. Belinda was no stranger to trading sex for favors or cash, but that was as Madam Bello. The Madam was everything Belinda wasn't: calm, collected, confident. Always in control. Madam Bello knew how to handle herself and either mystified those who tried to take advantage, or used her serpentine strength. But as herself? No, Belinda could never...

A low, gastric grumble echoed from Belinda's gut. Drat. She forgot to grab lunch. Maybe she could excuse herself?

Leaning upright, Belinda said, "Th-there, how's that for an audition? If you wanna hire me, t-take your time to think it over. You can find me in this alleyway every Tuesday and Thursday. Thank you, goodbye."

The Scaly Brood turned to leave, slithering out of the alleyway. Before she could, however, something caught her by the tail. To her dismay, the gentleman held the tip in his meaty little hands. At the same time, he slowly unzipped his pants.

"That's a start, that's a start! You're a lovely performer, my exotic flower." The gentleman raised an eyebrow. "But how about a full performance? To really know if you're worth my time?"

Belinda blinked. She stared at this man, this tiny mammal. The seductive music echoed in her skull, the sway of dance fresh in her bones. The hiss of long-dead ancestors filled her chest and pushed her body forward.

Slowly, Belinda swayed her head from side-to-side, moving like a pendulum. Her big, brown eyes honed onto the gentleman, observing every twitch and breath. A low hiss escaped her throat and drool dribbled from Belinda's maw, which was lined with curved, needle-like teeth.

600 Denari? So what? Who cared about money when Belinda was hungry now? The Scaly Brood's belly was empty and she needed to fill it. Besides, if this human had that kinda cash to throw around, he surely had a thick, juicy wallet. Maybe not 600 Denari's worth, but something.

"... how about another dance first?" said Belinda. The Scaly Brood gulped hard as her gut grumbled noisily. The alleyway echoed with the thunderous noise, which shook Belinda's belly like a bowl of jelly. She stepped closer, blocking the only exit to the alleyway. The giant reptile's shadow fell over the gentleman, looming like the shadows of Jurassic beasts. "I promise, this won't be one you'll soon forget..."

After some serious consideration, I've decided that Belinda works well as a mini-giantess character. Something about making her huge feels... natural. Right. Like it fits the lore behind Scaly Broods & other Degenerates, as well as snake biology. Honestly, I'm half-tempted to make Belinda a Titanoboa woman, but her colors and pattern has grown on me. Plus, there's something endearing about making Belinda massive and powerful, capable of destroying buildings and devouring people by the dozen... while still having anxiety problems out the ears. Just because Belinda can crush a full-grown man with her tail doesn't mean she's any less filled with self-doubt.

So consider this pic as a interpretation as Belinda's canon height. Belinda stands about 3-4 times taller than the average human. The exact measurement doesn't matter, because out of every detail to obsess over, that's one I shouldn't prioritize. However, Belinda's height is dependent on age; at age 32 (Belinda's current age), she stands at 7'6". At age 37, she stands at 12 feet. And at age 42, she's at 17'6". In other words, Belinda grows 5.5 feet every 5 years. Oooooh, and another fact: Belinda ages slower than humans. So if artwork of Belinda depicts her at kaiju-size, then Belinda is far older than any human.
