People were scattered all over the island. Those who were close managed to come together and group up for survival, and then came the task of figuring out what to do next. The obvious objective was to find a way to contact the ship for rescue, a task that was already easier said and done given the dangerous fauna and flora that lurked on the island, but there were also other agendas among the group.

Dunham had seen the giant ape-girl and believed she would make for one hell of a commercial if she could be captured and brought back alive, and quite to his pleasant surprise, Colonel Jackson was on board with a chance to bring down this adversary. If they were going to accomplish this task, they were going to need the spare seismic charges from one of the fallen helicopters that had fallen many miles away. At least it was in the right direction.

However, while Jackson made plans for her next encounter with her new enemy, neither she nor any of the other survivors were aware that something even more horrific had been roused from beneath the island itself.
