For some Bridget context, the original story is that Bridget was one of twin boys however there was a saying in the hometown that twins of the same gender were taboo so bridget was raised as a girl, skipping ahead there have been several occasions that Bridget was mistaken for a girl and he would immediately correct them saying he's a boy that has been the process until Strive kinda rewrote his background so NOW the lore is Bridget was born male but now identifies as female which Strives story mode kinda forced onto the character to accept and I think part of the lore change is because trans genders was frowned upon years back and now that the world is a little more open minded they decided to go with Bridget is transgender route

I just think a trans character being accepted is secondary. The old Bridget was a shota in catholic church cosplay. I think that is LESS acceptable now and would be impossible to keep doing after a time skip. If Bridget did not transition they would be the rapist priest now.

It was so embarrassing cause it was like. The usual assortment of *nyerr politics in my games* people but then there were also a few people who were incredibly concerned with like - *femboy representation*. which like

I guess they hoped for solidarity coz - I mean look at me -v- - and felt betrayed when I just started responding to the pictures of characters they were scared of being trans and go 'oh she's so pretty! :>'. At some point I just started trolling my own replies cause it was funny. -w-

Also the convergence mod adds a greatsword that basically works like the sword of judgment from dark souls 3 but it's *also got a second special skill which has a teleport that works as a dodge* and holy fuck I've tried like 5 times to give it up because it feels borderline unfair, how good it is but I NEED IT. I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF I'LL EVER BE ABLE TO PLAY ELDEN RING AGAIN WITHOUT IT ; W ;

I haven't touched Elden Ring mods yet, only Dark Souls mod I've ever played was the Cinders mod and it was pretty fun. Is it hard to get Elden Ring mods working without risking online bans?

And yeah people can be weird about any trans rep and claim it's "Femboy erasure" which is very, very dumb. Bridget girl and good and I'm really glad you didn't back down. <3

Elden Ring's got a tool for mods that turns off online connectivity entirely! +w+ So you don't even gotta do the dark souls thing where you turn off your internet, start the game, and turn it back on~

It got really weird too, like one guy was so upset about Bridget being trans that he made a fake email from ArcSys claiming she’s not trans, and it got so much traction the actual ArcSys had to come out and say “please don’t listen to that guy he’s impersonating us”

Anyways now I wish Guilty Gear was on Switch cause I’ve heard so much good stuff about it
