Creature Predator By Slimeman64 -- Report

(First posted on February 14th, 2011)

A weird angelic looking siren like monster that I dreamed up one day out of randomness. I think at the time when I first made her/it, I wanted to make something like a Final Fantasy looking final boss looking enemy thing. The original picture was kinda' lacking though. So, I downgraded her/it from final boss status down to special quest level monster and made her/it more of a psychic shapeshifting worm monster that resembles a cloud and lures (idiot) adventures in with the angelic looking lure on top of her/it's actual head. She/it also summons/creates cloudy looking familiar monsters to aid her/it in various ways.

I like how I modified her/it.

Awesome design, you do the best unique monsters! A worm-like cloud with voluptuous lips would be something freaky to find in a sky-themed dungeon, waiting to slurp up my adventurers... and I know that angel part would be a definite distraction!

What's crazy about this picture is that a few hours after I had (in my mind at the time) completed this, I looked at this again and said "You know what? I probably could've improved upon this or that areas."

To be honest, it has been a while since I could look at a picture and want to redraw the initial design. Even though, I did kinda' redesign this one from its original drawing. It felt kind of good to be that level of creative again.

I'm proud of what I made here, but I generally want to improve of the initial design, if you get what I'm saying.

Awesome to hear you're so inspired! Yeah, revisiting old ideas for more polish was kinda your thing, love how it makes your original designs seem even more real and professional.
