Funfact: Being swallowed whole is actually very painful IRL (unless you are being swallowed by something that is significantly bigger than you, like a blue whale), as the throat and esophagus would painfully squeeze you as you're being forced down, possibly resulting in broken bones.

I got the species of whale wrong, it was a humpback. A guy got eaten by one by accident, but he wasn't swallowed.

No species of baleen whale can swallow a human, their esophaguses are far too small, designed only to swallow krill, shrimp, and other small sea life.

I know, I got my example mixed up. A guy recently got "eaten" by a humpback whale (he only got caught up in its mouth), which is what I was thinking of.
