I’ve recently been playing through Genealogy of the Holy War semi-blind, and enjoying it tremendously. Currently partway through Chapter Four (Silesse), so no spoilers please! The large cast and my overactive imagination are resulting in a number of “shorts” of varying length, to be published weekly till the well runs dry. I’m trying to challenge myself to break my lazy structure of eats-sleeps-shits, for instance writing only digestion, or only disposal, with each story hopefully no longer than it needs to be.
This first story is Midir and Aideen. When writing it, I thought Midir was a woman. Yes. Damn. It’s an easy mistake to make. She’s a woman for these 750 words.

Your enthusiasm may be tempered when you learn I copiously use save states. I don't think I could survive otherwise...
But yes, very happy to be embarking on my FE4 journey!

Save states or no, im just glad you're playing Genealogy rather than in the boat of "waiting for a remake" which very possibly may never come

Don't feel bad, I also thought Midir was a woman for the longest time lol

I think everyone thought Midir was a woman at first, lol. Even after it showed him making the male death scream when he got defeated in the prologue, I still didn't put it together until later.
