POW!

An explosion from nearby wakes a sleeping dog as she just simply tried to rest from walking around all day already. Doesn’t anyone around here know you’re supposed to let sleeping dogs lie? No matter and too little, too late as Maruko begrudgingly rises to her feet and goes to investigate the nearby commotion.

Oh, it’s those two again. The ones who tried to get her on their side last time. Here they are, yelling at and slinging insults at each other. Munitions as well, it seems. What’s even the point, this time? Maruko makes her way down to the battlefield as the two other women continue their attacks against each other.

‘We should be attacking the Mushroom Kingdom! We’re here fighting over stupid ideas, instead!’, growls the spikier of the two women as she hurls another bomb towards the other. The pale woman easily sidesteps the attack and hurls a block back at the dragon. ‘Well, you said that we should attack head-on! Don’t you know it’s best to attack from the rear?!’ The bricks crumble and break against the other’s shell like gravel as it topples to the ground.

The two of them now get right into each other’s faces, one breathing fire and the other facing slightly away to start making a scary and terrifying face. Neither of them noticed Maruko come right up beside them until it was too late to do anything about it. The dog strong-arms the dragon into a headlock with one arm and moves down suddenly to slurp the ghost up from her ‘tail.’ A very loud whine from the ghost as she is being looked at and her shyness overtakes making any sense of the situation.

A satisfied gulp and the ghost has been tucked away, just leaving the dragon locked in her arm to be taken care of. Despite her fighting and fire-breathing, nothing breaks this iron-clad grip until it is ready to be. It is now the dragon’s turn, going down head first this way. The dog greedily gulps and gobbles down the other woman even as she has flames and horns and claws attempting to open her up on the way down. Soon enough, those sharp teeth interlock and snap shut as the dog finishes her meal.

She stands there, relishing in the filling meal of two noisy and rowdy women who interrupted her nap with petty squabbles. Now they could argue and belittle each other in her belly as they have now been forced to get very close with each other. A knowing smile from the black-haired dog as she looks down at her shifting middle.

A yawn interrupts her thoughts as she remembers that she has a nap to get back to! She pats and rubs at her full stomach as plods off to go find somewhere comfortable to lie down, much to the two in her stomach’s disagreements. Dog chow doesn’t get a say, though. They should’ve known better, anyway. Two eights always beats two -ettes, after all.
