yea, also the PVZ heros are just normal plants turned into more heroic forms and in the pvz physical comic's we do see plants consuming normal solid food. So yeah I think that tum might digest stuff too, after all why would a flower need a mouth? (also mini hc: sunflowers insides are kinda dry due to the amount of heat and sunlight coursing though their body.)

The flower needs a mouth to hide a human in its belly,( also if a sunflowers inside are dry solar flare's would be a desert when she uses her fire form.)

yea, I guess a sunflowers stomach is a two purpose organ, for digesting solid food without photosynthesis and to hide friends from foes. (I'd think the dry aspic is more of just, lack of stomach wetness. Think of the gut as feeling more like the stem of a flower but just a bit squishy, but no trace or remain of liquid would be in there. And maybe solar flares stomach has a much more hot aura to it, a comforting warmth. But when she goes into her burning form it gets MUCH hotter in there. Maybe she quickly digests by burning her food? Yowch)

depends on the circumstances:
-Are the zombies attacking?:
if yes then they must assume the human is in the house and must chew though the plants to get to them, meaning they get ate by zombies :<
-Did that zombie see the human get ate?:
if yes, rip sunflowers stomach.
-Is the zombie just, walken around and saw this sunflower with big gut?:
if yes, they might just walk away.
