Wrong Neck of The Woods + story By FunnelVortex -- Report

They warn against staying out in the woods at sundown, but unfortunately for one blue canid traveler they'd learn this lesson all too late. The traveler kept their pace through the forest as the sun set and the sky turned murky shades of dull yellow and black. The forest came to life with strange, eerie, sounds. The traveler shrugged it off and kept going, even dismissing the rustling coming from the bushes besides them.

But ignoring such signs was a mistake, the traveler was suddenly pounced on by a tall male fox who then pinned them against the ground. "Hey, didn't they warn you about being out here in the woods after dark?"

The traveler looked up with shock. "Look I don't want any trouble!" the traveler pleaded.

"Well too late now," the fox replied as he licked his lips, "You should know that these are our woods, and this is the time we forest animals like to hunt."

"Hunt?!?" the traveler's eyes went wide open. The fox merely responded with a ravenous gaze.

"I'd say next time stay in the city, but there won't be a next time for you!" the fox exclaimed as he opened his mouth wide. The traveler was staring deep into his gaping maw as drool and spittle dripped down on their face.

The fox then suddenly engulfed the traveler's head with his maw. He then stood up and lifted the traveler's body up with all his strength until the traveler's body was vertical, feet sticking up in the air, perfectly aligned with the fox's throat. The fox licked his prey's face and got a good taste of them before giving the first swallow.

Gluck.

The traveler's face was now in the fox's throat.

Gluck.

The traveler's torso began to disappear into the fox's mouth. The traveler tried to struggle and cry out, but being restrained in the fox's esophagus they could only wiggle their legs

Gluck.

The traveler's legs began to vanish into the fox's maw. Their arms and head finally found themselves some room. The traveler gasped and waved their arms in the presence of the sudden availability of space. Their arms struck against fleshy walls, and they looked down to see a pool of fluid at the floor of this cavern. They gagged at the smell and began to cough.

The fox felt the trashing starting to come from inside his stomach and heard his prey cough. His gut was beginning to swell to make room for his occupant and his digestive process already started to groan to life at the presence of food. He heard the traveler give a muffled plea from inside his stomach "Why... why are you doing this?"

The fox spoke with his mouth still full of the traveler's feet, "Because I have to eat... food's been scarce here lately because of you city furs dumping all your trash, but then you came along." The fox's mouth collected with more slobber as his teeth held onto the last part of his prey still touching the air of the free world. "You shouldn't have come here," he said as he gave the last 'gluck', sending the traveller down to their final fate. The fox's gut churned and squirmed as he gave it a good pat and rub. The fox belched as he proceeded to go home, happy and full.

A self-indulgent vore piece and short story I wrote featuring my OC/alt-sona Skarb the Fox as the pred. Went out of my way to portray Skarb as something of an anthropomorphized wild savage animal, one of my favorite pred types. When writing this I came up with an idea for a potential vore setting where there's a divide between "city furs" and "forest/wild furs", city furs viewing themselves as more civilized while wild/forest furs still much abiding by the rules of nature, kind of like a twisted Zootopia. Might play more with this setting in the future, might make an interesting alt-setting to play with my characters in more vorish and brutally primal ways.

But yeah Skarb gets some noms!

Skarb the Fox belongs to me.
