Grey is a little runt as far as his species goes, but he's still an arpine and despite his size he proves yet time and time again that he is still a good hunter. During dusk one evening he hid behind some small bushes downwind of a clearing and successfully ambushed a white and tan rabbit creature as it came through. After devouring the creature in one gulp he reclined on a nearby rock admiring the fruits of his efforts as he licked his still hungrily-drooling lips. It was a good hunt and this creature should be big enough to keep him nourished for a few days at least.

Darla struggled at first when she was captured and sent down the arpine's gullet, but once settled into her predator's stomach she stopped resisting understanding that escaping an arpine's belly is impossible. But even though thick mucus-coated walls of the organ were already starting to churn and excrete acids and Darla was already bathing in enzymes she still felt remarkably at ease. After all, she's seen this arpine around before and she always thought he was cute. Okay, she thought he was REALLY cute. All her life she knew she'd likely go out the-way-of-nature, and she couldn't exactly find herself complaining about her pred. Therefore she decided she was better off using her remaining energy for "uses" other than escaping....
