Striper is over three times as heavy as his wife and two feet taller. The balloon under his costume to give him the appearance of a pot belly is therefore lower profile but it serves the same function. It's there so no one notices later when the bulge isn't from a balloon any more.

The fact that the balloon/meal hikes his Fred smock up so you can see his balls would concern him more if he didn't look forward to meeting curious lady party-goers who want to feel his big "club".
