I got this wondrous picture from my friend DrakentheBlack a while ago and decided to write a funny story to accompany it.
Thank you Draken for the inspiration : )
Here is the story I came up with........................................
It was Ayla's birthday, and Seishin was in a frenzy trying to find the perfect gift. She wandered through the forest, wracking her brain for ideas, but nothing seemed quite right. As a youkai who didn't often interact with humans, Seishin found herself at a loss.
Finally, she decided to seek help from Ayla's parents. After all, who would know Ayla better than her own family? With determination in her heart, Seishin set off for Ayla's home, her mind racing with possibilities.
Upon arriving, Seishin was greeted by Elizabeth, Ayla's mother, who welcomed her with a warm smile.
"Seishin, darling, what brings you here?" Elizabeth asked, her red hair shimmering in the sunlight.
Seishin bowed respectfully. "I've come to seek your advice. I'm trying to find the perfect birthday gift for Ayla, but I'm at a loss."
Elizabeth nodded understandingly. "Ah, I see. Well, let me think... Perhaps something practical? A new dress, or maybe some jewelry?"
Seishin's face fell. "Oh, I'm afraid Ayla already has plenty of dresses and jewelry. I was hoping for something a bit more... unique."
Elizabeth frowned in thought. "Hmm, I see. Well, what about a book? Ayla loves to read."
Seishin shook her head. "I'm afraid that won't do either. Ayla has mentioned she is reading six books at the same time and struggles to finish them.”
Elizabeth's brow furrowed in confusion. "Alright. Let me see... What about a painting? Ayla has always admired the artwork in our home."
Seishin hesitated, unsure of how to break the news to Elizabeth. "I'm sure Ayla would appreciate a painting, but... I'm afraid it might not be quite... practical."
Elizabeth's eyes widened in realization. "Ah, I see what you mean. Well, in that case... What about nail polish? She often complains about her claws getting dirty.”
“And she has buckets of it in under the sink,” Seishin mumbled.
Elizabeth sighed in defeat. "You're right, of course. I'm sorry, Seishin. I wish I could be more help."
Seishin smiled gratefully. "It's alright, Elizabeth. Thank you for trying. I'll keep searching for the perfect gift."
With a final nod of thanks, Seishin bid Elizabeth farewell and set off once more, determined to find the perfect gift for her friend.
As she wandered through the forest, lost in thought, Seishin suddenly found herself face to face with Xantos, Ayla's father. The massive red dragon regarded her with a curious expression, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
"Seishin, what brings you to these parts?" Xantos rumbled.
Seishin bowed respectfully. "I've come to seek your advice, Xantos. I'm trying to find the perfect birthday gift for Ayla, but I'm struggling to come up with ideas."
Xantos chuckled, a low rumble emanating from deep within his chest. "Ah, I see. Well, let me think... How about a treasure? Every dragon loves treasure."
Seishin's eyes widened in horror. "And where in the world would I find that? I can’t exactly raid Draken’s lair!"
Xantos scratched his chin thoughtfully. "Hmm, you may be right. Well, what about a sword? Ayla could use it to defend herself against any threats."
Seishin shook her head vehemently. "I don't think she knows how to use a sword."
Xantos frowned in thought. "I see. Well, what about... a roast pig? Dragons loves it."
Seishin's eyes widened in horror. "Xantos, what about her figure, she'd probably roast me alive if I tried."
Xantos chuckled, his laughter echoing through the forest. "Fair point. Well, I'm afraid I'm out of ideas, Seishin. You'll have to look elsewhere for your gift."
Seishin sighed in defeat as she bid Xantos farewell and continued on her quest, her mind racing with possibilities. But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't seem to come up with the perfect gift for her friend.
Finally, with the sun setting on Ayla's birthday, Seishin found herself at a loss. She had searched high and low, consulted with Ayla's parents, and even sought advice from Draken, but nothing seemed quite right.
As Seishin wandered through the forest, her mind weighed down with disappointment, she suddenly found herself face to face with a massive snake. With a hiss of surprise, she stumbled backward, her heart pounding in her chest.
The snake lunged forward so fast that Seishin had no time to react before she found herself half- buried inside its throat. Seishin fought and wiggled, but the snake was so self-confident about its victory that it didn’t even bother to squeeze the life out of her as it swallowed her down. It’s firm grip on her body sent her sliding down in no time, and she was enveloped in warm and sticky slime. As her dainty feet vanished through its throat, the snake closed its jaws and slithered away to digest her somewhere else, and despite its formidable length, it didn’t take many minutes before she finally was squeezed into the roomier stomach.
Sheishin growled as her body was transported over bumps, rocks and sticks on the forest floor, the saliva and slime would take ages to get out of her fur, not to mention the smell! She didn’t know where the snake would take her, but since it wasn’t likely that Draken would get her out of this one, she had to do it herself. With a burst of adrenaline and fury, she fought back against the snake, her claws slashing through the stomach as she clawed her way out.
Seishin tore the snake open when her claws sliced through its thick scales. With a deafening cry, the serpent recoiled in pain, the stomach releasing its hold on Seishin as she tore herself free. “Fuck you!” she yelled and crawled out while the creature spasmed on the forest floor.
Gasping for breath, Seishin emerged from the snake's belly, covered in slime and sweat but triumphant. “I really, really didn’t need that you stupid, overgrown worm!” she yelled at it, but then a smile spread across Seishin's face.
With a grin, Seishin approached Ayla and presented her with her birthday gift. "Ayla, I know it's not much, but I hope you like it," Seishin said, her voice filled with excitement.
Ayla's eyes widened in surprise as she opened the box and pulled out something she first couldn’t make out, but soon revealed itself to be a kitschy…
“…snake skin bikini!!” Ayla gasped and stared back at her with uncertainty. “Seishin, you shouldn't have…... Thank you, where did you buy…!"
Seishin's cheeks flushed with embarrassment as the smell of snake filled the room.
“It is real skin, isn’t it?” Ayla stated.
“Yup!”

Draken did a splendid job here, and his picture is tempting me to make a follow up to display Ayla in her birthday suit… ; P

That's a cute story. Reminds me of fairy tales where the main character seeks advice from multiple other characters, but never quite gets the right answer until they get it from the last place they were expecting.

It's a classical fairy tale trope, but one that's easy to explore and use in enertraining situations. It is safe to say that Seishin put a great effort into fining Ayla a special gift.

Hehe, you never know where the pred might appear, but if the snake had been a sentient perv... ehm, being, I presume he wouldn't complaint too much what his remains ended up covering ; )
