Self-Control By LivesInAStomach -- Report

“Ava, it’s going to be okay. Trust me.”

“How can you say that and… and actually sound like you mean it?” Ava said. “I don’t understand.”

“Because I’ve been here four years and I’ve been okay. Henry’s been here two years, he’s been okay.”

“Speak for yourself,” Henry said.

“And August has been here six months and he’s totally fine.”

August was silent.

Here's a little story I wrote as a trade for my friend  M4st3r0fb41t. He gave me the general scenario and I came up with the rest of the details. It was fun to write!

You can read the story he wrote for me as part of the trade by clicking this link. I'm totally in love with how it came out. And if you like perma endo half as much as I do, I'm sure you'll love it too.

I'm glad! I can definitely consider writing more stories like this one if there's interest.

Yes, make him starve, make him feel the consequences of what he's done. Perhaps then they'll finally see light and take back their lives, as they deserve.
I think you've made a great villain with Rowan, and even though I don't think they'll canonicaly get out, I can imagine. Also, that ice bath trick can be used for both good and bad, it seems.

Thanks for reading! It was interesting to write a character like Rowan, I don't flex those character muscles as often.

I'm not normally into endo, but I love this story, the casual dominance of the pred is wonderful! Hope to see a continuation of these characters as they go through their year!

LivesInAStomach

Posted by LivesInAStomach 1 year ago Report

Oh wow, I'm very glad you enjoyed something that's not usually in your wheelhouse! I think that's a pretty big honor on my part. Casual dominance is definitely one of my favorite things about scenarios like these.

As for a continuation, this was just a one-off... but if there's enough interest I can definitely consider it.

Oh my god this story is BRUTAL. four people who had EVERYTHING taken from them. Literally all they have left are each other. And they barely even like that. The detail of how they keep track of time by what falls, the way they're barely able to keep each other sane... holy SHIT this is good.

LivesInAStomach

Posted by LivesInAStomach 1 year ago Report

What a harsh existence they live! Maybe living in a stomach isn't all it's cracked up to be. (Oh, who am I kidding...)

Thanks for reading and enjoying!

Hell naw. Im a strict observer. That would SUCK

LivesInAStomach

Posted by LivesInAStomach 1 year ago Report

Was not implying you'd enjoy it! It is most certainly a horrible fate.

alittletrolling

Posted by alittletrolling 1 year ago Report

I think id end it all, to be honest. But then, everything is soft and covered in food. HOW?

THAT is the most terrifying part. There is no escape.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful! Unwilling perma endo absolutely needs more love! Most of all with male preds!

LivesInAStomach

Posted by LivesInAStomach 1 year ago Report

I absolutely agree that it needs more love!! And I was very happy to contribute. Thank you for reading!

Tummylock

Posted by Tummylock 1 year ago Report

I was wondering. The people trapped inside can still die by another way like drowning? Or they simply can't die inside the stomach??

LivesInAStomach

Posted by LivesInAStomach 1 year ago Report

Usually, I don't enjoy thinking about the prey expiring by any means other than digestion. Just my preferences. So, to answer your question, probably not.

Tummylock

Posted by Tummylock 1 year ago Report

Understand. Particularly, I have the same preference. Nothing but digestion would free then. But the digestion will never come, so it's an eternal suffering being less than nothing. Absolutely perfect

I'm not to surprised that people were starved for a story like this, this is a very rare combination of Entrapment and multiple prey.

LivesInAStomach

Glad you think so!

Mechdragon1k

I do wonder what you make of fear play with a happy ending. Something where the prey is terrified but the pred is protective.

Or the idea of a pred getting struck by regret mid digestion and trying to nurse prey back to health?

LivesInAStomach

Posted by LivesInAStomach 1 year ago Report

I love both of those ideas! Fearplay is super fun to write about, and fearful stories with positive endings are huge opportunities for emotional storytelling.

I might actually steal one of your ideas. I've written a story where a prey is regurgitated and nursed to health, but not by the pred. But having the pred suddenly grow regretful is very interesting... was it a breach of trust? A intrusive thought made real? Or maybe it just wasn't the right time. Either way, someone's sopping wet and in need of some aftercare.

Observance

It always impresses me that you can handle such a wide range of tones. Lighthearted and sweet, or gloomy and dark...it's all fun to read!

Gosh I love this so much~
Endo despair~
They're all so well characterised, their reactions to their situation makes sense and the predator! He's so normal, in a chilling way. Can't tell if I wanna be him or be friends with him~

You both are great, so seeing a story come from both of your brains is just lovely and entertaining~

LivesInAStomach

Posted by LivesInAStomach 1 year ago Report

I knew you'd like it! For a short story, I did manage to squeeze in a lot of details about their "situation."

If you were friends with him, would you get jealous?

TastesUndivided

Posted by TastesUndivided 1 year ago Report

I would be super jealous! A little jealous of his belly pets, but mostly jealous of him.

But most of all I'd be angry that he didn't tell me sooner and tried to keep this awesome thing secret from me! I'd rub his belly and feed him whatever food he wants to cover them in~

Oh my gosh thanks so much!! The fact that you loved the story despite not liking endosoma is amazing to me! I'm definitely taking that as a compliment, hehe.

KinkyRegrets

Tbh, I think this story made me start to like and want to do endosoma works too, this is pretty good c:

LivesInAStomach

Posted by LivesInAStomach 1 year ago Report

Wow! May I ask specifically which parts you liked? Because now I'm curious!

KinkyRegrets

Posted by KinkyRegrets 1 year ago Report

The constant distress the tinies are in, being compacted in a really tight space I assume, tries to digest them even when it can´t.
the uncaring way the pred is with them, trying to drown them to calm the tinies down.
the fact that the tinies, have to survive of the scraps that the pred eats.
and that the pred is constantly kinda full, since the tinies are still there, and the pred doesn't seem to need to eat that much

Pretty much the whole setting was pretty hot and inspiring for me.

also, whyle checking other works, I realized you were the one that made Dulce the android, I didn't realized before, I also liked her story with Shesa :3

Argh, this one has been sticking with me the past couple days, much to my dismay. The concept of unwilling endo is now genuinely terrifying to me, the despair those four feel is crazily palpable. Your writing chops are certainly not to be underestimated.

LivesInAStomach

Posted by LivesInAStomach 1 year ago Report

I'll choose to accept this as a compliment! But please take care of yourself. Maybe read one of my more lighthearted works (of which far outnumber stories like these).

MellowYellow

Posted by MellowYellow 1 year ago Report

It was meant to be! Well... half compliment at least, it speaks to the quality of your writing that it sticks with me so. I eagerly await what you put out next, whether it be your usual fluffy stuff or something a bit closer to this.

I'm so glad you stopped to read it, too!! Long-term entrapment is my specialty, I'm always happy to give it more love.
