Rayleigh was raised from a baby by many of the angels, specifically the Archangels themselves.
As it turns out, she was once human, a baby to human parents, but she lost them when she was a mere baby by the hands of a man named Amadeus, a powerful Lich with powers far beyond imagination.
However, the Archangels themselves wished to keep this a secret, afraid of what could happen if she were to learn the thruth of what had happened.
Amadeus, the powerful Lich, was eventually defeated and caught by Tsubaki sometime back, sealed away in prison deep under the ocean.
Luck was on Amadeus' side one day as he managed to escape that prison that had been made to hold him them thanks to the actions of a third party.
It didn't take him long to come across Rayleigh, mentioning how she looked just like her mother before he had consumed her soul all those years ago.
Many questions were thrown around, and many painful answers had to be said.
Rayleigh knew that the souls of her original birth parents were long gone, but she wanted nothing more than to get back at thsi man for all the things she's done.
Despite having gained much experince, haivng defeated many foes of varying sizes, she didn't stand a chance against Amadeus.
The man didn't wish to take her soul, that would be too simple, instead she wanted to have a bit of fun with her, and make her his for the rest of time.
He had grown fond of her, so what better way to keep her around and in a place she couldn't escape from than his very own stomach?
Now having devoured Rayleigh whole, he sat upon his throne, smiling at his now eternal meal that would be with his forever, only allowed to come out on his conditions, but it was clear as day that he wouldn't allow her that freedom.
Inside Rayleigh cried out for her someone, anyone, to come and save her.
