Hello, dear readers. As always, the period from September to December is a busy one for me in terms of work, which is why you haven't seen any stories from me recently. I've barely had time to write a paragraph or two of actual story, but I have worked on the outlines of several future tales.

I've got over half a dozen stories planned, in the Felarya and Defenders of the Empire settings. (That doesn't mean I'll write them all. I'll have to see how it goes.) In particular:

- The first chapter of a potential new Felarya story arc called "Riverlands". (I've already started this one. A bit.)

- A story idea tentatively entitled "…in a strange land", focused on an alternate version of my character Ayna. This is likely to be short, a sort of 'introductory chapter' to float an idea for possible future development.

- A continuation of Milly's story. Will she finally find some peace and contentment after everything that she's been through? Will Yemic be a source of happiness and stability in her life, or a new source of complications?

- At least two new chapters of "Defenders of the Empire!". Can can the valiant Imperials protect what is left of their home, and the way of life they believe in? Does the New Republic want peaceful coexistence, or will its hawks push for the Empire's complete destruction? Is Orinda, so near the border, really a safe place to raise a family? Can Talana's children remain undetected by the fearsome Jedi, and is Seleen's apparent Force-vision something to be worried about? Find out… as soon as I have time to start writing again!

I'm rather exhausted with work, but I've found time, bit by bit, to write a short opening chapter to what may become a new Felaryan story arc.

To all my readers: I've posted a poll, with a slightly unusual question: If you lived in the same universe as some of my characters, what would you prefer to be for them? A neighbour? A friend? A lover? A husband? A snack?

For those of you who identify as prey, a couple of other questions (which you can answer here in this thread), just because I'm curious:

If you were to be eaten by one of my characters, who would you prefer to be swallowed by?

And a related question: When you read my stories, do you ever imagine yourself in the place of the characters who get eaten? If so, is there one story in particular that you like to imagine yourself being a part of? Out of all my own stories, I probably most fantasise about being Niels in Story 99, where he gets to spend three days with Cherry and watches her eat his (willing) friends before she eventually swallows him too. She then happily meets up with her husband and makes love with him while Niels is inside her tummy. Reading back, I can't help but feel that would be one heck of a way to go!
