Second, why I haven't been creating. Essentially, I changed careers about a year ago and since then I've been focusing more on that and allocating my time better. Because of that and changing interests, continuing my series (apparently series is the plural of series) sort of fell by the wayside.

I have decided that sarkopheros.com is unnecessary. Considering it’s been nearly a year since the last update, I doubt this is a surprise. I am not actively creating content right now but I have to pay like $150 a year for this website. That’s almost two weeks of food for me. I do not see the point in maintaining a dusty old website, especially given its low usage and the fact that the content is still perfectly available on a number of free websites.

Hey, guys. I have good news! TL;DR I negotiated new terms with my hosting company and the website's good for another year.

Basically what happened is that they charged me for a two-year renewal 15 days before the billing cycle was due. The problem was that I couldn't afford to pay what they were asking. I did have some money socked away in Patreon, but it wasn't nearly enough. I contacted HostGator a few days ago and talked to a rep there. She got me a discount and we changed the site to a yearly billing cycle—which the Patreon money almost completely covered. They charged me for the new annual cycle and refunded me what they'd already charged for two years. I wanted to wait on any announcements until I saw the money back in my account—which it now is. I know it's been a long time since I posted. Not much has changed—I'm still working on starting my own business and I believe it's going to launch very soon. That's good. Hello, readers! Another news post for all of you.

First thing's first, Brod: The Bachelorette, Parts 2 and 3 are coming out in a few days. I haven't written since May of last year, so I thought I'd come back in a big way!

2017 had a lot of nasty surprises for us. Let's hope that we can make 2018 a better year for all. If you have a New Year's Resolution, get on that shit as soon as you can. I know from experience.
