And life goes on Posted 2 years ago
Writing this mainly so the "I'm still totally working on stuff" newspost isn't the most recent one.

Long story short, I've stopped writing. The piece I uploaded a year ago remains the most recent substantial thing I've written at all, let alone porn. It's not been the only victim as my video game playing and general fun-type activities have also suffered. I won't go into detail as to the why but needless to say it involved a lengthy diagnosis process and ongoing medication adjustments. Even then it's a treatment, not a cure, and while some days are better than others it's a struggle to do even the most basic things.

I still enjoy writing, nothing is more satisfying than losing an evening putting my fingers to the keyboard even now, but it's the doing...

Still alive Posted 5 years ago
Hello if anyone actually reads these. Switch!Life is still ongoing, I haven't forgotten about it. The hangup is that this next chapter requires a particular mood because it is next-level horny and that does not come easily for me. Particularly not when the mood in recent weeks has been unyielding rage on account of various bits of world and otherwise news. That sort of energy is best poured into another project.

So that's the update. I'll write the next chapter when sufficiently horny, which probably sounds weird but is what it is. See you then.
Slight break for the weekend Posted 5 years ago
Switch!Life will return Monday as I spend some time brainstorming, visiting parents, and recharging my batteries.

Still recharging, but have some additional news.

With Chapter 8 just about completed, this is about halfway through the series going by the overarching storyline I've been following. Rather than do another sprint through the remainder, I'm going to take a little more time with each chapter to try and finish things off properly. This will be accompanied by a more delayed update schedule to allow me to get that time in, as opposed to trying to write a chapter a day between work and life obligations. I would like to do twice a week, ending the series before NaNoWriMo, but for now I'll commit to once a week and if I'm satisfied with the work on another...

Hello again Posted 5 years ago
Feels good to knock off some of that rust. It's not like I haven't been writing at all for the past two years, but it wasn't anything substantial just yet. I don't know how long this little Switch!Life series is going to go on for but I do have a general idea of the overall plotline and gave myself plenty of room to work with so I can truncate things if necessary. Apologies if I fuck up the sexual bits, as an aromantic asexual I have an academic understanding of that stuff at best and zero firsthand experience. So if some anatomy seems off or characters seem a tad horny then you can blame my total ineptitude in that arena. So why do I write sexual vore stuff? Dunno actually. I just want to. Same reason why I do any writing. There doesn't need to be a purpose or end goal, just a blank page...

Apologies Posted 7 years ago
I thought I had posted the announcement but clearly that was a fever dream or something. Well may as well just reiterate what happened.

Basically, I keep my writing in several places usually. Attachments on emails, my computer's drive, and an external drive. That last one is the kicker, because it's the ONLY place I put files from the Goddess Tournament (other than bits and pieces attached to emails from work writing) because of the subject nature. And wonder of wonders, when I made my move to my current place that drive bit the dust somehow. Bam boom gone and everything on it, including every single match I had written. Goddess Tournament had ceased to be in one fell swoop.

I am not the type to get emotional. The loss of all this work was not rage-inducing, it...

Goddess Tournament Delay Posted 7 years ago
Hello everyone.

Alright, the Goddess Tournament is going to be delayed an additional week or two due to the fact that I am currently in the process of moving, which is why Round 2 didn't begin last week. I can post on forums and do small blogs a bit, but large-scale editing is just out of the question. The good news is I received the keys to my new place today and I'll be moving in Saturday, so depending on how long it takes to get Internet up and running, along with anything priority that might arise in the meanwhile, Goddess Tournament Round 2 will commence on either 6/15/17 or 6/22/17. Even if I can't start the round proper I will put up an intermission on 6/15/17 that is already mostly edited aside from touch-ups. It'll help set the theme for Round 2, because it's going to...

Whoops Posted 8 years ago
It would seem I forgot to change viewing permissions for some of the Goddess Tournament stuff, notably the roster, and only I could see it. That's been fixed now.

So! The fights in Round 2 are proceeding well, probably because I was sneaking in some work on them when I should have been doing Round 1, which means it's time for the usual Round progress list! Names will be revealed when participants in a match have had their Round 1 matches posted, to avoid spoilers.

MATCH 17 : Final Edits
MATCH 18 : Rough Draft
MATCH 19 : In Progress
MATCH 20 : Final Edits
MATCH 21 : In Progress
MATCH 22 : Rough Draft
MATCH 23 :...

The Tournament Begins Posted 8 years ago
And we're off! Match 1 of 16 is now up and a new match will be uploaded at least every Thursday for the remainder of Round 1. The sooner I can get an apartment the sooner I can pick up the pace on the uploads, but for now this will give me a bit of a buffer to work on the second round of matches. Shouldn't take nearly as long though. Round 1 is easily half the total tournament and clocks in at over 50,000 total words with each match averaging around 3,000. That's enough to qualify as a short novel on its own, and it still has another half to go! That's not even counting the actual story I'm writing around the Tournament, which will boost the word count even higher. I have kept the story and matches largely separate, but every now and then you'll see something linking to the overall...

Still not dead Posted 8 years ago
Been a fair bit of time since my last update hasn't it?

First things first, the 1st Round of Goddess Tournament is still not complete yet. Basically, life decided to be life and lots of things happened in quick succession. Nothing permanent, but it definitely took my attention away from my personal projects for an extended period of time.

That said, life is gearing up again. However, this time it's definitely for the better. New job at the end of the month, new place to live, new environment in general. All good things for my stress levels and general headspace. This will delay Goddess Tournament further, no helping that, but once I'm situated it will open the floodgates for more work than ever before. Where I'm at currently is, almost literally, a hole in the...

12/12/16 Update Posted 8 years ago
Progress continues, got slowed down with an influx of work at my job. Not that I mind much, it's rather boring sometimes to be staring at a computer screen trying to think of words until end of shift. Anyway, still no expected date for the tournament to be released, especially with the holidays upon us and all their chaotic glory. Still, I will say what I have been working on so you guys, all two of you, can get an idea of what I've been tinkering with for the past month or so.

- Plotted out a big story that involves the Tournament and runs concurrently with it, but fighters do not feature in it and the events don't impact the Tournament. However, some fights in the Tournament do have connections to the story in minor ways. The main characters are Kaiser, the Goddess, Anima...
