chakra. Even while trying to conserve it, she found she had to use up
a good amount of chakra just to fend off Marunomi’s attacks. Even
worse, she had no idea when or even if Sakura and Hinata would come,

Solution
Marunomi walked towards Sakura. Her
belly, full of Sakura’s fallen comrades, bounced with each step.
She was quite keen to finish things up and partake of the girl’s

Sakura and Hinata stared at their
opponent intensely, and Marunomi stared right back at them. As they
tried to think of a strategy, Sakura and Hinata’s eyes were
intermittently drawn to Maruomi’s outstretched stomach; the
enormous blob that had already taken their friends and now threatened
to consume them as well.

Temari and Ino stared down their
opponent. Marunomi stood strong, cool, and confident. Her eyes gazed

them. Her hands were clutching her bulging belly, a firm reminder of
their friend Tenten’s fate. Her entire demeanor stated perfectly,
