WasabiArt's Blog - Hiatus planned Posted 1 month ago

I have planned this for quite some time, but it can't postpone any longer. I will take a 3-month pause from posting art, starting at the beginning of April and ending at the end of June.

However, this will be everything but a break for me. I feel my art has not been able to keep up with the community when it comes to quality. Despite trying my best to give myself the chance to learn with every drawing, it hasn't been able to meet the minimal standards — or MY minimal standards — for that matter. I understand that I received lots of commission proposals, and they can be a little encouraging, but comparing my current art with that of other artists, it feels like an unfair steal, from my point of view.

So, for that reason, I'll be using these months for real,...
